Audrina Patridge Reality Show on VH1

  • Member
Freshly eliminated "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Audrina Patridge isn't spending too much time feeling sorry for herself. Staying true to her roots, Patridge has signed a deal with MTV's sister-company VH1 to star in and produce a still untitled reality project following the aspiring-actress and her family as they navigate through celebrity and Hollywood. The former "Hills" star teamed up last year with Mark Burnett to develop the series.

"I am thrilled to be working with VH1," Patridge tells THR. "I can't wait to begin filming and introduce the world to my amazing family."

Filming will begin early next year.

I hear VH1 is close to greenlighting a new reality series starring The Hills' Audrina Patridge and executive produced by Mark Burnett. Patridge will segue into the new series after wrapping her turn on ABC's reality hit Dancing with the Stars. The still untitled project, whose order is expected to be in the 8-10 episode range, will document Patridge’s life with her family as she tries to navigate the world of fame and celebrity in Hollywood. (The Patridge Family anyone?) Burnett will executive produce with Patridge and her manager Dave Fleming. Patridge, repped by ICM and Mosaic, teamed with Burnett to develop a new reality series built around her in the spring of 2009. MTV ordered a pilot for the project, The Audrina Show, which was to chronicle her daily life. While it ultimately didn't go to series, sister channel VH1 pursued Patridge and Burnett for a retooled version of the project and to better fit into its brand and ordered it to series. Burnett is in business with VH1 through the new reality series Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp he is producing for VH1 Classic. It premiered last week.

Nobody cares about her family. She should give up the reality thing and focus on acting if she wants to be in the entertainment business. I can see her getting a break on one of the CW's shows and she can take classes to improve herself before she moves onto something bigger. Reality TV will ruin her if she continues. She already got enough exposure from the Hills; she doesnt need to do more if she wants to be taken seriously

Forget what I said about Audrina's family before. Im so into this reality show now. Her mother is a nut! MUCH more interesting than Audrina. She calls Lauren out on being a bitch...lol. She also calls the rest of the Hills girls, tramps. A crazy drunken hot mess, just how I like it
