1962 cast photo

Does anyone remember how long Millette Alexander played "Sylvia Suker" on the show?

I thought she played on ATWT from 1964 to 1966, which would not fit if this photo is actually from 1962.

(I just checked in two reference books, which also list Alexander's tenure on the show from 1964066.)

Thanks for the confirmation - that's what I was thinking, as well.

Would you also be able to tell me who the woman is between Rosemary Prinz and Millette Alexander? I'm drawing a complete blank.

As Paul Raven pointed out, that is Joan Anderson, who appeared on ATWT from 1963 to 65.

I'd say this photo is probably from 1964 or 65, not 62, judging from the actresses pictured.

I just saw it mentioned online that James Douglas who played Grant Colman (in addition to numerous other roles including Peyton Place) passed away earlier this month.

That's a shame. I enjoyed his work on PP, AW, and ATWT very much.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. He was one of my favourites on Peyton Place. Him and Barbara Parkins lit up the screen together. At least I can happily say I was able to watch PP from beginning to end on YouTube awhile back. I don't know if the show is still available there, but if it is I highly urge everyone to check it out. Rest in Peace to a truly handsome, charismatic, and magnetic performer.

This obituary states he passed away on March 5, 2016. http://www.rep-am.com/Obituaries/944900.txt

That's sad to hear. He was so understated as Grant - such a good foil for Lisa. I loved when he would bemusedly smile at her antics. It's a shame that the worthless hack Goutman had such contempt for Eileen that he didn't bother to bring Grant back at the end.

PP is still on Youtube for now.

Thank you, Paul.

I'm also sorry to learn that James Douglas passed away. I have very fond memories of Grant Coleman when I watched ATWT as a kid.
