RIP Linda Cook. She was on ATWT for part of 1993, as Cynthia, a blue-collar woman who had a love affair with whatever the name of Royce's alter was. You can see a little of her here with Allison Janney.

It's hard to believe she and Terry Lester are both gone.

Gillian Spencer (who played Victoria Lord Riley and Nicole Smith, a double role, on One Life to Live in 1968/9) replaced Geraldine Court as Jennifer Ryan, Feb. 2. Susan Davids succeeded Tiberia Mitri as Betsy Stewart Feb. 8.

The hiring of Gillian Spencer coincided with Irna Phillips return in Jan 72.She was obviously not happy with Court in the role.

Variety reports in the Dec 15th 1971 issue that Donna Wandrey had been cast as Barbara Ryan, She was another actor/character that Irna ditched in 72.

1972 -Variety reports that ATWT will shoot a wedding July 21st at Riverside Presbyterian Church, That was the marriage of Tom and Carol.

Bobby Short, the supper club singer-pianist, will play himself in April 26 episode of "As the World Turns"

Dec 72 British actress Judith McGilligan into "As the World Turns."

Variety November 65 Gloria DeHaven joins the cast.

October 63 Ruth Warrick, who starred for many years on the daytime soaper, "As The World Turns," rejoins the pivgram next Tuesday for four days to celebrate the 70th birthday of the grandpa character.
