they started showing pics of her on the show as well. Thats the first sign that made me think she could make her way back

That doesn't mean much and the ONLY reason there was a pic of Alexa's Babe on the show was because it was Bobbie Eakes' own personal pic she got from Alexa when she visited her and Justin & their new baby.

Well the new SOD out this week says Alexa Havins is not returning to AMC oh well.

Wonder who it will turn out to be....hoping for Terri Colombino or Natalia Livingston.

If they're going to recast her, I'd like to see someone with some fire in their belly. I don't know Terri Colombino, but I certainly don't see that quality in Natalia Livingston.

and why would they need to use that when they've been using only AB pictures for years? Besides the Babe picture was shown on 8/13; Alexa gave birth on 8/11 so that couldnt have been a pic she got while visiting their new child

I dunno, aside fromt he tornado, most of the key Babe stuff happened when Alexa played the role--to me it makes a lot more sense to use her as the flashback/photo Babe. (Aside from the fact that nuBabe, while not all together hated, never really was very popular.)

why would they all of a sudden start using her imagery now though? Babe's been dead for 2 years and up until August, all of the pictures and flashbacks have been of AB. It just seemed odd that they would now be using AH instead when they had 2 years to do so and didnt

Maybe there was hope she could come back? Maybe they thought they needed to take some time after NuBabe died (it's not like they had constant flasbacks of her and then suddenly one week later it was a pic of Alexa). I agree it's odd, but I don't think it really means anything.

word on the street is they've seen a ton of people but no one fit what they wanted (for a Marissa recast) and that we might see more oF Brittany (short term or maybe even long)

Why not just have Marissa get custody of AJ, leave town and bring her back when they find a decent actress?

Oh WOW. I'd never seen her in action before. That clip is filled with mediocre acting (when the guy playign Sean--sorry I'm not into DAYS enough to know most actors--stands out as by far the best in a scene, you have a prob) but wow, she's just. Wow. I think that's the worst acting I've ever seen on a soap--worse than Carlos on AMC, Randi, etc.

That bit at 1:00 where she says "Tell me where you saw him, why isn't he ccalledmeISHEALRIGHT" *hand gesture*. Just BRILLIANT.

To be fair to Brittany, I don't think she's awful as an actress (except sometimes like when she trashed David's room in anguish). She's just BORING. No charisma or energy, that saddled with such a mess of a character means they're better off just completely reconceiving the role from the actor on up. I laughed when JR brought up her shady massage parlour past just because it had so little context with the Marissa we've always seen on the show. (We can thank Pratt for that...)
