July 30, 201015 yr Author Administrator OMG DAYS last in Total Viewers! Yikes. Higley won't be here much longer, Corday is going to go into panic mode. DAYS went up in demos though. I think DAYS has to consistently get like .8 or .7 in demos for Higley to be fired.
July 30, 201015 yr Member Definitely will be interesting to see how GH did on Thursday and Friday. That will be really sad if they failed after spending all that money to tape in LA, all for the Franco finale. James Franco paid for most of that out of his pocket and he also found a sponser who pitched in I think it was Gucci or something have to go back and dig it out...

July 30, 201015 yr Member So how much did OLTL and AMC go up? Did they? If OLTL did then their ratings are very erratic these days. I thought Corday was close to Higley, wouldn't he keep her no matter what?

I thought Corday was close to Higley, wouldn't he keep her no matter what? If DAYS is in last place with 2.39 million viewers, then OLTL went up over 100,000 viewers at least. Yea they are up and down lately. Edited July 30, 201015 yr by OLTL_fan
July 30, 201015 yr Member Wow from almost getting 2nd place to last. Thats just sad! Goodbye Higley! More like "Goodbye DAYS." James Franco paid for most of that out of his pocket and he also found a sponser who pitched in I think it was Gucci or something have to go back and dig it out... Source?
July 30, 201015 yr Member I thought Corday was close to Higley, wouldn't he keep her no matter what? He will do anything to keep DAYS on the air, he already fired her back in '03.

July 30, 201015 yr Member More like "Goodbye DAYS." Call me an optimist, but I see DAYS getting renewed at least once more into 2012. Corday is already negotiating a deal, and the show could easily cut costs a little more, maybe even copy ABC and cut some episodes. NBC isn't developing anything, and I remember someone at the network saying they were dedicated to holding on to the last bit of daytime they had. And what about the Comcast stuff? That will play a part in Days' future as well.
