So disappointed Justin Lin didn't get a nomination for his episode ("Moderm Warfare) on Community. It was easily the best directed episode in Comedy last season. And disappointed Danny Pudi or Donald Glover didn't get Supporting Noms - would've definitely given one of them Jon Cryer's nod. Wished John Noble got a nod too.

So happy for Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler who FINALLY get nominations.

Love all the Glee, Modern Family, 30 Rock, Lost, Dexter, The Office, Breaking Bad, SNL, and Conan nominations.

SO GLAD Kyle and Connie finally got their well-deserved noms. I'm not sure yet if they show was robbed of an Outstanding Drama nom for this season, yet, though. I still can't forgive the Emmys for robbing it of one for the first season.

Zach Gilford should have been nominated as well. The writing for "The Son" was great, but his acting elevated it to an astronomic level.

The sad thing, though, is that the show won't win anything because these were merely "pressure noms." They felt the pressure to nominate them, but they're not going to actually consider them. They have their stable of Lost, Dexter, and Mad Men noms, and that's all they need/want.

Since I was part of the effort to pressure them, I'll take some credit. I'm not ready to say they won't win anything though. After all, clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.

I'm beyond thrilled to see all the credit for The Good Wife. I tuned in for REG's guest spot but I fell head over heels in love with the show as a whole. The writing, the acting, its my appointment television. Julianna Margulies has become one of my top five girlcrushes and Archie Panjabi is made of golden awesome. I don't know how I'll choose between Julianna and Connie. Argh, Sophie's choice.

What's up with GOOD WIFE???

A huge amount of nominations for a network-drama series... I tried to watch because I love the actors but found it ULRA bland and boring. Did it become taht great after first 4 episodes that it warrants all these nomniations???

Speaking only for myself, I love the fact that it's subtle. It's not afraid to let the audience sit with questions for an episode or two or ten and it doesn't shy away from gray areas. Plus it just lets actors ACT. It has a very "theatre" feel to it. (Yes, I know how terribly pretentious this all sounds! ) Also, it gives me exactly what I've been bitching about not getting from soaps: strong women, diversity, it shows instead of tells, I just :wub::wub: that show.

But it did start a little slow for me. I liked the first few eps then before I knew it I was on TGW board debating Peter's legal strategy. LOL!

I support them no matter what, but I'm not getting my hopes up :( I don't want to be let down. And if/when Kyle and/or Connie win/wins (because I had to keep the slashes going), I'll run up and down the street like I got the Holy Ghost in me.

But, because I can't say it enough, Zach was robbed, robbed, robbed. I don't care if he was supporting or guest star, as long as he got in there somewhere. That boy's turned in some incredible work over the last four years, and he needs the credit. He needs it.

I love how you say it with a smile. What if Julianna's pulling a Fath? And responds to the hate?

That's true. ZG deserves it. But I'll take a Kyle Chandler win. I was listening to the director commentary for The Kingdom and Peter Berg called Kyle Chandler one of the finest actors of his generation. I'm inclined to agree. BTW, if you do run up and down the street, please have someone video it and post it to You Tube. I wanna see that.

*takes out earrings* That's my girlfriend you're talking about! *pulls razor blade out of hair*

But really...Glee? It's a fun little romp and they certainly have one of the hardest working casts in the business but Emmy worthy? Nope.

"SVU" and "Emmys" don't belong in the same sentence unless its under comedy. What on earth would Hargitay win for? The episode where she goes undercover as a madam? The one where she goes undercover as a Russian cleaning woman or (my personal favorite) the one where she pretends to be a hooker that Eliot ordered up? Which, frankly, only serves to make one question Eliot's taste in hookers.
