Opal needs to reopen the Glamorama again. I remember reading spoilers 4 months ago that she was going to start working at Fusion. I'm glad that was scrapped.

I guess I'm the only one who sees a disturbing trend, here. Did "we" spend all last summer shooting unnecessary location scenes at the yacht club... and then immediately after Labor Day weekend had to resort to the 2 week long dance marathon because... gee... somehow the budget called for the show to take place in one location because there wasn't enough money to build and strike sets?

"Any time we step foot out of the studio -- one foot out of the studio, the costs triple, and the tension and the work triple." - Felicia Minei Behr, 1994, All My Children: Behind the Scenes (ABC Video).

Then jogging in the park sure as hell isn't worth it, but I wonder if that's changed since '94 and if ABC has perhaps borrowed a P&G-like approach to shooting outdoors that's somehow less expensive.

P&G used the hand held and portable cameras on location to save money. I am sure that AMC is to doing the same. There is no money to go anywhere like GH has so AMC is improvising. I don't think going to the park is worth the effort, but AMC apparently thinks otherwise.

Jake and Amanda deserve to be in wedded bliss after the year of hell they went through

Self-inflicted. If the happy whore did a damn DNA test, none of that year of hell would've happened. But, then again, this is the chick who was dumb enough to dump her baby in an alley -- so I shouldn't be too surprised she didn't think to do a paternity test.

But I don't deserve the hell of having it on my screen. biggrin.gif
