Why is it whenever someone says, "Y&R can't get any worse," it almost always does?

It's from this week's issue of Soap Opera Digest. I don't have the issue yet but their insider email sent out today had this to say:

Y&R is rolling out the welcome mat for sentimental favorite Lauralee Bell this summer. Bell will be coming back next month, and though her stay might not be long (no details yet!), it's sure to be must-see....

As must see as Danny's return a few years ago, I'm sure.

I'm starting to think that Cricket coming back in time. To tell us who Jill related too. To help out Jack & Patty. Try see if she can take Paul from Nina.

All I'm saying she could be in more then one storyline.

The DESPERATION coming from MAB is palpable!! Must really be trouble brewing if Lauralee has finally agreed to come back for however long. But I am sort of looking forward to see what s/ls she will get involved in. I actually did like Christine.

Maria can bring back all the former actors/characters she wants to. Heck, why not bring back even Stuart Brooks! Won't change things, though, girly. Your show is sinking into the abyss, and you know it.

Rumor ( apparently from SOW/SPW) has when Christine Cricket comes back she's going to help Gloria fight for John's money.

That's disturbing, Cricket would never do that to the Abbot's, even if it's just a "job." Glad I don't watch this trash anymore.

Hopefully it's just a rumor. It wouldn't surprise me if Micheal or Lauren would be the ones to talk her into it.

When Maria was fixing LML's mistakes, she should have gotten rid of Gloria and Jeffery.
