OLTL: Rex's Parentage

I thought it might be fun to start a thread about whom you would like to see as Rex's parents if you could pick anyone from the show.

I know most believe he will turn out to be Bo's son...but I personally hope not because that is just to predictable.

IF I could pick any couple to be Rex's parents... i'd want them to be Tina and Max. Yup, out there.... I know. But what better way to be able to bring in Andrea Evans and James DePaiva even if briefly to the story?

With Tina's history involving Mitch, maybe she found out she was pregnant and was scared Mitch would come after her so when she had the baby she dropped him off at the hospital so Mitch wouldn't know....only to end up almost getting the baby anyway. Tina would have hidden the pregnancy from Max, therefore he never knew.

This could interact all kinds of people like Mitch/Tina, Max/Tina, Max/Roxy (who were married.) I would love for Roxy/Natalie to find out that Tina is Rex's mom after her keeping quiet about Natalie and Jared being locked in the basement.

Rex would be Natalie and Jessica's cousin...

Just an idea and a totally different direction.....

No one gives a sh-t who Rex's parents are. Seriously this storyline has been dragged on for over 3 years now. Too many false leads, rewrites, crappy twists. Any viability Rex had as a character has been killed with this never ending story.

Who gives a flying [!@#$%^&*]?!

This show is ridiculous now. I have stuck with this show through some craptastic [!@#$%^&*], but it's a HOT MESS right now, and I truthfully only watch once a week now. I still love the show, because it has been a part of my life for so long, but this REX PARENTAGE nonsense is sooo stupid.

Honestly, I think the only reason they are doing this is because they are going to let Ilene Kristen go. They are letting go all of their recurring characters, and with the ONLY friend she intercts with (Kyle) LEAVING, and Rex NOT being her son, I dont see Roxy on the show for much longer. And that will probably be the final straw for me as a viewer.

I agree, I think we will find out his parents are someone currently off the canvas. They will bring them back for a short term storyline to reveal they are Rex's parents, Roxy wil be devastated and leave town, Rex will continue to be a whiny little pus$y, GiGi will endlessly whine about how "Balsom has had it SO HARD" and after Rex's real parents leave town, Rex will forget about the whole thing for 3 years until we find out that THEY arent his parents either, and the whole thning starts over.

I honestly don't think you could find 10 people who give a s.hit who Rex's parents are. No one cares. No one even likes Rex.

I never said I currently cared about the story, however, IF it were a way to bring Andrea Evans back even for 6 weeks....THAT would make me care. Then they can write them all off cuz they would probably ruin Tina worse than her last short stint.

Just because 'everyone on the blogs' carry on about hating rex doesn't mean that all the viewers dislike him. I still think if they took Rex back into a different direction and made him more like the 'original' Rex...schemer/having a fling with an older woman, Lindsay...i'd be more interested again. I can not stand Rex with Gigi and that's what is ruining him.

Tina is my favorite character of all time and I dont want to tie her to this crap. Why throw her under the bus to salvage whats left of the clusterf--k they've done on Rex? Id rather never see her again than make her join in the musical chairs game of who his mommy and daddy are
