I hope there is a point to this character, becuase so far they haven't seemed to find anything meaningful for Kelly to do.

The soaps are so unoriginal. ATWT has a Reid...and now OLTL has a Reed but spelled differently....lol

The actor is hot btw.

Right now I'm thinking short term, although I'm not really sure right now.

So let me get this straight, they fire a string of actors just to HIRE a new one? He's good looking but I'm not really interested in a new character at the moment. I would much rather they held on to Schuyler, Oliver, Kyle, Rachel, etc.

Again, as with Ford, I feel like he's there only b/c Ron and/or Frank thought he was hot. (Some pick up men at bars; others give them jobs...on soap operas.)

As a straight man, he is a good looking person but why cast him? His character is going to be like you said a Ford and many people HATE him...

It's no different than Gary Tomlin giving Teddy Sears a(n acting) job when he was OLTL's EP. Never mind that Teddy was/is a bad actor, or that he wasn't right for the role he auditioned for, or even that the "role" the writers shoehorned him into turned out to be a ginormous waste of time. Gary got a woody, so, let's give the stud muffin a contract!

I just hope this "Reed" person doesn't destroy the last, sane woman OLTL has left on its canvas. It'd break my heart to see Addie lose her [!@#$%^&*] again over a piece of ass.
