I always find it funny how there is such rampant homophobia in soap fandom (I suspect the most homophobic type of fandom out there), and so many love and have no clue that the actors they think are too sexy for their shirts are as gay as can be.

The cliche though of course is because soaps attract a middle America, less educated viewer (something I'm not sure is even really true). But really, is there such homophobia? I think the networks are more worried about it than it actually exists--I've never really encountered it, then again I don't go to fan meets, etc. And I think Nuke and Kish have proven that a lot of women actually like the fantasy of a gay romance to watch (which is why such a huge demo of Queer as Folk's fandom was straight women0

I remember when those pics leaked. I still find them beyond hysterical. (And really if I ever had a bf who insisted on tried to get me to do push ups with him when we were at a public beach, I'd leave him... Sheesh)
