Candiace's wedding was cute. However, I was not here for her mom's shenanigans or Chris' cheesy vows. I found it tacky too that Robyn showed up at the reception. I would've nicely escorted her ass out. Her broke a** wouldn't've boozed and ate that night!

Gizelle sobbing over Sherman was embarrassing. Her grudge against Monique was even more embarrassing. Sherman not wanting the show up had very little to do with his antics (which were public knowledge might I add). I think he is just over Gizelle and didn't want to be used as her story any longer. It doesn't help either that Gizelle spent all her time bashing the mother of his kids.

Now I am ready for next week when the downfall of Michael starts to occur. Ashley can prance around with that baby bump all she wants. We all know that Michael wants man-meat at the end of the day.

Candiace's mom continues to be an evil ugly witch. After she went in on Candiace, Id have been like f--k off bc you dont need to come to my wedding. Its too bad she is so dependent on her mother for everything bc that money has kept her in line

RHOBH: I about fell out my chair at the end of the episode when it shows LVP taking a lie detector test! YASSS!!! These hoes are going down!

Watching Kyle “look at me” Richards straddle Mauricio will give me nightmares for weeks to come. Tom Girardi pretending to give a crap about Erika or the career he bought her was hilarious.

Overall another super boring episode aside from the LVP stuff.

Just epic.

Now Erika & Kyle are saying that if LVP is innocent then she didn't need to take a lie detector test.

Do these idiots not get that LVP didn't do it for them. She did it for the audience. She could give a flying f*ck about them. Why try and change the opinion of a bunch of idiots who most likely orchestrated the whole ordeal anyways.

And Kyle is on Twitter trying to spin and saying the issue was never about the Radar article. B*tch, what? You all spent 4 damn episodes talking about that f*cking article.

Are you serious? Is Kyle actually trying to lie about the Radar Online article not being precisely what this is all about when it's all she talked about for 1/4 of the season and which an entire episode was dedicated to with the rest of the heifers talking about over dinner? Is she f-cking serious?

Kyle doesn't get it. Her friendship with LVP is over. LVP said it to Camille: it's done. Everything LVP has done since she chucked Kyle from her home has been about the audience and making sure these bitches didn't get away with their poorly constructed smear campaign.

I will give the editors credit for showing how LVP and Camille have had the most surface, basic 'friendship' the entirety of the series. That made me laugh.

I can't get over Denise Richards. Such a natural presence and her family is so loving. I wouldn't care if she ever appeared with the other ladies, her scenes alone bring such light to the show. I wasn't expecting to like her this much, but she was a smart addition. Great, interesting family, great mom and when she IS with the ladies it works. Someone like her is needed to ground the show so I hope she stays. This is also why I hated when Eileen left, so I'm glad to see they're filling this void.

Teddi/Rinna/Kyle running was also a tranquilizer. I'm not sure what is not clicking but the chemistry is off. The bulk of the episode was Erika's show and I'll give Erika credit for having Tom there and also for giving us some interesting scenes. Where it fell flat was when the other women came. I'm not sure what exactly it is but the chemistry is off with this group. Dorit, Teddi and now Lisa Rinna just don't fit like they used to IMO. They seem too into being characters on the show and aren't interesting people anymore. I miss the authenticity that Kim, Taylor and Eileen brought, or even someone like Adrienne with her hard edge and shade. Their attempts at having fun either don't feel real or they're just really boring.

LVP and Camille were cute. There's always a levity to LVP's scenes which is another thing (like Denise) that gives balance and authenticity to the show. I love how hard edged she was with Camille in terms of the Kyle thing. What I didn't like was that Camille was completely two faced in her meeting with her and her confessionals. She said she understood her not going to her face, then in her confessionals said she's acting like a victim and should show up. That thrown together with the comments about her gums show me that Camille just isn't a good friend to her. Feel free to tell me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall Lisa saying anything about Camille. It just feels off.

The ending with the lie detector test was iconic. I am loving how LVP keeps getting such memorable moments when this is the season she was "MIA" where Rinna and the rest had to save it once she "stopped filming" which we now know was all lies.

I have just had a look at her Twitter. Holy sh-t. She is tap dancing, back-pedalling, and making up whatever lies sound halfway credible to try and wriggle out of this. And none of it, not one lick of it, makes any sense because it's all untrue.

Kyle and the rest of them tried, and they've failed, to take down LVP. You mark my words, she will beat 'em at their own game.

Agreed re Denise. I think she works so well because she's actually letting her real life (which has layers of family, her husband, her work) be filmed. She's just herself. And that's what we watch these shows for. The real thing.

Dorit, Teddi, and Rinna are flopping because everything they do is predetermined in producer meetings. Nothing is spontaneous. It's all contrived, particularly Dorit and Teddi. Rinna has the advantage of being humorous in her VT.

Agreed re Camille. Her VTs combined with what she's said behind LVP's back demonstrate that she's simply not trustworthy. She plays both sides. And no, LVP hasn't really ever said anything negative about Camille.

And yes, LVP stays making iconic moments. Checkmate, bitch.

That's what is p*ssing them off--that LVP continuously keeps outsmarting them at every turn. Our girl has every base covered and it is bothering them. They thought they could prey on her as she was down and out, but they thought wrong.

LVP is gonna have so much power going into the 10th season negotiations if she offers to return. This whole season solidifies how this show cannot survive without LVP. Pathetic (on the other women's part) b/c this could've been their RHOA-like moment where they showed us all that they didn't need LVP to make a good season (much like the women did post-Nene after s7 reunion). Instead, each episode centers around who? LVP.

It has to irk production too as they want Lisa gone, only to realize that they need Lisa. I pray that LVP agrees to return next year with one stipulation--firing half of the cast.

I just don't see how LVP returns. The way these women went after her in what's been the worst moment of her life with her brother's suicide...it's ugly. You only have to watch VPR to see how that cast supported her and even then, she was a wreck and openly admitted to seeking out grief counselling and taking anti-depressants.

She knows these women actively despise her and will do anything against her and want to hurt her. Let's not minimize it: they wish her harm. The only person who hasn't really gone after her is Denise. And the irony is Rinna hasn't had much to say about LVP other than she isn't pulling her weight (which is utter bullsh-t now that we've seen this horrible season unfold).

    • I recall @Chris B asking about this but here is an interview Sheri Anderson did with SOU back in the fall of ‘89: Here is an article that I think is interesting, it is an interview with Shery Anderson, screenwriter of the ninth season THE WRITE STUFF: FALCON CREST’S SHERI ANDERSON: FROM DAYS TO NIGHTTIME By Richard Spencer Soap Opera Update, 1989 : At a time when the success of nighttime soaps is shaky, Sheri Anderson, former headwriter for DAYS OF OUR UVES, ANOTHER WORLD, GUIDING LIGHT and GENERAL HOSPITAL, makes the jump to the evening format with some new ideas to help strenthen the CBS California vineyard based soap opera FALCON CREST. "FALCON CREST is going to have a differnet tone that it never had before," headwriter Sheri Anderson expiains. "The people that I am working with are kind of an interesting mix. The executive producer, Joel Sumow, did the first years of MIAMI VICE and THE EQUALIZER, Bob Cochran, a Harvard MBA,and Cyrus Nowrasteh, who has done a number of features, are story editors. I am co-porducer, with a history in daytime, so we are a real different mix. We all kind of balance each other out in different ways. I am sort of the emotional side (coming from daytime) and they are more the gritty side." A lack of focus is what Sheri attributes to FALCON CREST's problems the last few seasons. "No one , seemed to knwo that the characters' motivations were. Pilar was a real good example. No one seemed to know what she wanted. This season it is clear that Pilar wants Lance. That is really her dream and goal tokeep Lance. She will do anything to do that. She will be making some sacrifices thís season that really jeopardize her relationship with Lance." While Pilar's character may be strongly in place, Maggie's is not. How will the show restructure in light of Maggie's drowning? " We are not trying to replace her, but we are adding another kind of strong heroine character. That character is Laruren Daniels. She's very earthy; married to a construction worker. Lauren. is the sister of Michael Sharp, Gregory Harrison's new character. "Michael is an extremely powerful adversary to Richard Channing. He will be more cynical than Richard and less emotionally motivated. For Michael it is all power and money. The audience will be more sympathetic toward Richard. He will be going through hell," Sheri reveáis with doom in her voice, "...Paying for his past sins " The complete opposite of Richard or Michael's intensity is the the new character of Charlíe St. James."Charlie is every woman's foolish choice," Sheri character sketches. "He's kind of indescribable; charismatic, totally unpredictable, charming, unnervtng. He's coming in as a love interest for Emma. He will be the first man to make Emma feel like a woman. She's really not victimized by him...she’s addicted to him. Charlie's presence will make her a little less flakey this season." But Emma is not the only one in store for major personality changes, also in the categroy is Frank. "We arebringing back somebody from his past," Sheri reveals "there will be a great secret that will come to ight." Speaking of characters from the past, are there any Sheri would like to return? "Everyone is fond of Ana-Alicia in her original role. At this point we don't have any plans to bring her back because we have some other character that are going to take the forefront." And if one thing is going to remain the same, it will be what Sheri recognizes as the theme of FALCON CREST "Quest for control of Falcon Crest. We have people trying to take control, and they are all taking it for different reasons. Some are emotioanl, some are revenge, but they each have a different eason for which they want Falcon Crest. And that is really the pivotal center. It is very earthy." Keeping the core of lite show intact is not the only thing nighttime shows have to do to stay interesting and acording to Sheri"I din't think night time shows have kept paces with changes in the viewing audience," Sheri answers by analyzing what exactly is primetime soaps* problem. ln datyime, you do over the years the shows stay on, but you are adapting to what people are accepting:faster-paced, or slower, or addíng more comedy, depending on the audience, and what they are buying. I don't think some of these shows in primetime have done that "We are trying to make the show as much episodio as it is continuing. We are cutting down the number of scenes in each act to get the audience more involved. But some of the shows, and this happens in daytime al so, don’t let the characters really grow," Sheri certainly made chracters develop during her daytime career, but especially on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, which is the source for her favourite stories of her careen ”When Víctor carne to Salem and revealed tha the was really Bo’s father, it caused such a ripple effect for Kim, Shane, Román, Bo, Hope, Caroline and Sean. I also liked bringing Kayla back for Patch.” Having written for Kristian Alfonso' s Hope (DAYS) and now Pilar on FC, Sheri distínguishes between the two characters. "Pilar is a woman, but Hope was growing up. Hope was more innocent and Pilar is not Pilar has an intelligent strength where Hope did all the wrong things for all the right reasons." Pilar wíll be the only one retuming from her family, while Angela Channing’s appearances will be limited (per Jane Wyman's contract). "But Richard will be taking a very strong role which is very similar to Angela Angelad presence will be felt in every epísode/ Sheri informs. A lot of people complained about the women of FALCON CREST being wishy-washy They certainly aren't this season Sheri emphasizes. "Lauren will be strong, especially after her brother Michael steais Richard’s children and places them with her, Frnak’s step daughter will be very devious, indicateive of Kathleen Turner in “Body Heat” And Gregory Harrison is fabulous," Sheri reports with joy. "He is so different from his character on TRAPPER JOHN, M.D He is very similar to Michael Douglas in the film 'Wall Street'. FALCON CREST viewers will find a much richer textrae, getting away from the glamour and really going to substance and style." Sheri concludes, "it will be a show to watch, We are trying to bring in a new audience, and at the same time, respect our past audience."
    • Well, if he's had a series of mini-strokes along the way (which, IIRC, he did), then that influences things. I can say, from my experience of having had two full-blown strokes, that recovery periods were very, very different, both in terms of difficulty and length of time.
    • Whhhhhhhhhhhattttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was everybody out this weekend.
    • She did have a thing with him in the late '90s, before she inexplicably disappeared with no mention as to why, although I can't remember if they had sex.
    • I don't believe she did. She did sleep with Simon, believing he was a Spaulding.
    • -- If I ever get sick, please don't send me to Garland Memorial. That hospital is a YIKES. -- Soooo much activity around the main nurses' desk. Do they move dead people on a gurney past that desk, too? -- 8 months for Bill to recover from a "small stroke"? Uh....I don't think so. Is anyone researching this stuff? The hospital stuff is not coming off as realistic. -- It's good that Derek and Ashley are being integrated into other stories, but it's a real stretch to say Leslie was "stalking" Ashley. It makes Derek seem dumber than we already think he is. -- Ashley spends a lot of time having small talk while she's at work. -- Chelsea is embarrassing. Period. -- Tomas is supposed to pick up the slack for Bill, but he has time to have worthless conversations with Leslie? OK then. -- Kat is destroying the case against Leslie, but that's clearly the way to keep Leslie on the canvas.
    • 6-3   I almost let my system just delete the episode just like with B&B. I am now questioning if I should have. lol.   I just can't believe that Cole sat there and started to get sick and then only Victoria off and ran off and everyone basically went back to what they were doing at Nikki's birthday party. Cole was too much of a vet character for that. And now story back off-screen.   I did chuckle at how much Victor pay Kyle dust. And now Kyle with this deal and a promise to leave town if he hurts Claire. smh. As if Victor isn't going to make that happen.   It was lovely to see Ashley. And actually (misdressed and all) Abby.    And I liked Claire's dress.
    • Oh. That. I pretend that never happened.

I did think of another possibility. Did India ever sleep with Alan? They kind of toyed with pairing them up, but I'm not sure they ever became lovers.
    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
