Finally catching up with the NYC Season 6 reunion and Sonja said that, earning her (so far) the prize for most jaw-dropping line LOL

Followed by LuAnn's wonderfully bitchy "Karma's a bitch" in response to Mario cheating on Ramona after Ramona made fun of LuAnn being cheated on years ago.

That's so true. She meant she has a woman in Ireland doing her SEO who lost her home or something but the way she said it and the fact that it had nothing to do with anything.... You can't hate her, because I think she (mostly) means well, but her grip of reality is almost non-existent!

Thanks NBA! IA with Cheap. I like Eileen a lot but last season she looked bitter and angry and like she was doing YolErika's handywork. FOH is probably best for her. Maybe she and Faye could switch places.

Carole looks contrived af. Proof money can't buy you cla-asss. She looks like a down-and-out wicked witch.

Everybody else looks spectacular, especially Bethenny, Ramona and Jules.

Finally watched last week's episode, Carole and Bethenny are such mean girls. I can't.

I can understand Bethenny's fear of getting to close to somebody with an eating disorder, but the way she dismissed Jules' very genuine defense of herself was mean. I still say B and Carole are lowkey gunning for another Jules relapse, for some morbid amusement of their own.

The Countess stays boss, as usual. I loved her scene with Ramona at the end, as they strolled through the Upper East Side arm in arm. Bethenny was so mad that Lu got engaged in Vail -- I bet she was hoping for LuAnn would do it in front of the cameras, so that she could accuse her of opportunism and making it 'all about her.' As opposed to, you know, All About Bethenny.

New Jersey got only 1.626 million viewers on Sunday. Dang, the general interest in NJ seems to have waned. At this point, I could see them trying to lure back Danielle Staub. Even though I'm not a huge Jacqueline fan (and there's been *way* too much focus on her these past two eppys in), there's juicy history between her and Danielle that extended far beyond after Danielle left the series. It would also be interesting to see where she would align with Teresa nowadays. (Dare to dream. Danielle and Jill Zarin are the two wicked reality show ladies I'd like to see back at their old stomping grounds, respectively)

For comparison's sake, even New York garnered 1.526 million last Wednesday, and 1.615 million the week before. Orange County got 1.798 million this past Monday.

OC

Meagan's fertility storyline is the absolute worst. Am I going to be subjected to her injecting needles in herself every week?

Shannon can f--k off. Too angry and bitter. She asks Vicki if she's trying to apologize then why is she attacking her. Huh? You were the one attacking Vicki and werent receptive to her trying to mend fences.. I need to have Vicki writ her bc really who the hell is Shannon? No one needs her approval.

Heather, get a clue. Your husband making other plans on your birthday, mother's day and other important events is a hint that he doesnt want you.

With the Live + 3 Day ratings New Jersey got like 2.6 million viewers. Regardless, OC is leading the back (after ATL of course) and New York made a shocking resurgence this year so good for them. I think New Jersey will continue to build as the stories develop. It's been off the air for a year. OC is proof to never give up on one of these franchises because it's rebuilt itself the past few years with very little promo and a lower profile than the others. They only started paying attention to it again in the past two seasons.

The Melbourne S3 premiere on Bravo was SO good.  I'm excited for this season.  I even liked Lydia for the first time. Petti and Lydia are going to be the troublemakers.  Loved Gamble threatening to sue Petti at the end!

I could still do without Jackie - she's boring now.

Teresa and Joe may be struggling but I don't think they're necessarily broke. Jac and Chris are definitely broke...I'm kinda shocked to the extent tho. I really thought they were doing fine so I don't understand what caused it aside from their sons healthcare maybe?

The new wives are cool/interesting. Not as over the top as the twins.

Bethenny and Ramona continue to kill these tricks on NY left and right. Luann continues to be the fake viper she is. Looking forward to the reunion where she'll continue to get insulted and dragged by B & R. Carole can jump in anytime since she actually owns her sh*t. I hope she returns next year along with Heather

    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
    • I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there. Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.
    • Yeah, financially, Luna is in better shape than Deacon and Sheila.   -- Scott Clifton must have decided to chew the scenery in every scene of this "Liam is Dying" storyline. Yikes.
    • If J.R. wasn't busy with Ewing Oil, he'd be a heckuva soap recapper. He was SO gleeful at recapping Jenna-Bobby-Pam when the trio and Mark encountered each other at the Oil Baron's Ball. That being said, Lucy, presumably Sue Ellen and maybe Ray should all know this story, or at least part of it. Lucy was definitely at Southfork during Jenna and Bobby's relationship, and I believe Sue Ellen was about to marry J.R. around the time Jenna jilted Bobby. (Ray might not have given a damn.)

    • Broadcasting Magazine (May 5, 1980) : Future US-Next TV : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive From a May 1980 Broadcasting issue: Meredith Broadcasting in association with Alan Sloan Inc has committed itself to produce series of five half hours in soap opera form, "designed for youngers 11-14 and their parents." Programs, yet untitled, "will deal with problems teen-agers face in their relationships with peers and parents," with script topics reviewed in advance by teachers, psychologists and others. First episode is to air on Meredith's five TV's in September and ground broadcaster also anticipates syndication. If successful, idea is to go to full-fledged series.
    • Broadcasting Magazine (May 5, 1980) : Future US-Next TV : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive Looking at an old Broadcast issue with a fall schedule preview. Their description of the show: Lorimar Productions turns its cameras "below the surface of a small, traditional, thriving college town still large controlled by its founders, the Millingtons." Plot elements include "nurtured dreams, closely-held desires, closeted shame and vital truths about friends and family." Lee Rich, Michael Filerman and David Jacobs are executive producers of the Roundelay production, in association with Lorimar.  They also mention the show in a small section about advertising's point of view.  Advertising agency reaction to the new fall line-ups announced by ABC and CBS last week varied. But upfront, some agency types were apprehensive that their advertisers might be turned off by some of the new "titillating" entries. "I'm concerned about the amount of permissiveness," said one executive, with CBS' Secrets of Midland Heights commonly mentioned as one possible offender.
    • I just saw this. Thanks for sharing. The classic Y&R thread may enjoy your posts. It was in very poor taste for Andy Cohen to blindside MTS with that type of question, but I'm not surprised as he's an awful person.
    • The way Kat was acting today, it only enhances Silk Press Sheila's stalking accusations.   She certainly takes after her Aunt Dani. It took about 70 episodes, but the show seems to have finally understood that Ashley/Derek have to interact with the rest of the canvas in order to get viewers to care about them... or at least understand what their purpose for being on the show. Leslie vs Kat is a wonderful pairing.... and Leslie/Tomas was comically.   Dani's delusion that she's still Bill's wife.... no comment. I really hope that Eva doesn't turn out to be Nicole's child.. because I find the fall out from the anniversary party to be pretty good and there's more possibilities having Eva not being Nicole's child then being her child..imho.
