This is why soaps are in the shits. Not only is the writing bad but they continue to recycle shitty actors in roles whether on contract or recurring.

She hinted viewers would be getting what they were asking for, and IMO that would be Kate Collins/Janet back with Amanda for a run. So I'm just waiting for the confirmation on that one. Though it stands to reason she might have seen a story building for Amanda after the lull and was referring to that.

I'm going to leave my guess as photographer/model partner for Amanda's next story. With a name like Ciro. Hopefully he never really talks then just fades away
