February 16, 201016 yr Member Nope....he's ALL yours (well Autralia's). He's a "spyware king" and his attitute towards the Canadian media was awful (he refused to grant them interviews). Now the Aussie officials are protesting the results. Whatever. Soooo glad he lost!! http://www.sportsbybrooks.com/canada-stole-olympic-gold-from-spyware-mogul-27849 Yeah, I heard about them protesting. He had the most sour face on too during the flower ceremony. As Toups said, Australia, HE'S ALL YOURS! Another medal, silver in snowboard cross... almost won the gold, but lost it in the final jump.

February 16, 201016 yr Member He had a big lead too. Yep, damn Americans They are having an amazing games so far.
February 16, 201016 yr Member Jamie Sale and David Pelletier look like they would rather be anywhere else then commentating at the Olympics.
February 16, 201016 yr Member The Russian reign at the top of the Pairs Figure Skating is officially over.
February 16, 201016 yr Author Administrator The Russian reign at the top of the Pairs Figure Skating is officially over. It should've been official over in 2002 - damn French judge and the Russian conspirancy!!

February 16, 201016 yr Member It should've been official over in 2002 - damn French judge and the Russian conspirancy!! Totally Agree! I thought they were good with the commentary. David was funny. I didn't get to hear their comments but both night NBC went to them sitting and they were barely doing anything. I am really looking forward to the Men's competition.
February 16, 201016 yr Member I didn't get to hear their comments but both night NBC went to them sitting and they were barely doing anything. I agree with Toups. I thought them paired with Rod Black was a good commentating team. During the short program they were really having some fun with the odd uniform choices by some of the teams. That pairs final was hard to watch, but those two Chinese pairs at the end saved it. Great performances. I am so glad to see the Russians shut out
February 16, 201016 yr Author Administrator I didn't get to hear their comments but both night NBC went to them sitting and they were barely doing anything. It was probably a commercial break for them. I assume NBC showed them when that pairing skated to "Love Story"?
February 16, 201016 yr Member All I saw of the two was them sitting there looking bored out of their minds. I'm glad they were making comments about the uniforms (I'm assuming the clown choice was one of them) since most don't get into that. Did anyone see the big issues with the speed skating ice? That was a mess.
February 16, 201016 yr Member Sidenote: I was really disappointed for Jeremy Wotherspoon He finished 9th in the 500m speedskating, his last Olympic Games. He so wanted that Gold (or at least a medal) on home soil. He will go down as the best male speed skater without an Olympic gold. Great career Jeremy! Those delays at the Oval tonight were ridiculous. 2nd event now that the Zamboni has malfunctioned. Edited February 16, 201016 yr by Adam

Did anyone see the big issues with the speed skating ice? That was a mess. I didn't see what hapenend before the 2nd half of the pairings. Was it due to the skaters kicking at the finish line, and sometimes the skate picking the ice apart?
