Oh, Frons. Put away your lightsaber and just let your writers write their shows! No need for a pectacular (typo, and it stays) stunt unless the situation warrants it (i.e.: Sonny dies and in a crossover move, Ryan Lavery loses his life trying to save him).

I've often thought it would be great if Zach, Sonny, Ryan, Jason, Kendall and Carly met and, affected by Adam and Stuart's saga, decided to do a variation of the same and all shoot each other dead... because they all reminded each other too much of the horrible, horrible, horrible things in themselves.

Or at least do a face off. Zach will topple furniture, Sonny will smash glassware. Ryan will stare blankly, Jason will stare blankly. Kendall will screech and shrew over her ownership of Zach and Ryan, Carly will shrew and shriek over her ownership of Sonny and Jason.

So true Cat! I'm waiting for Guza to go WAAAAAAY out on a ledge and do something he hasn't done before (or just maybe in a very long time) - write a storyline fans care about, provide a cohesive show, drop the mob storyline, pretend that the show's history matters?

That's the 'stunt' I'm waiting for and TIIC wouldn't even have to rely on expensive graphics work.

Triple word score on the 'pectacular' typo, LOL!

The awful thing about the characters you mentioned is that, in the event of nuclear annihilation, you just know these cockroaches would come crawling out from under a rock practically unscathed.

The other awful thing? How Frons has transposed the Sonny-Carly-Jason trinity on AMC with Zach-Kendall-Ryan. I am assuming the reactions of the AMC fans has been akin to that of the Aztecs when Hernan Cortes and his conquistadores hoved into view.

I'd like to think that Kendall would throw herself out of a 60-storey building in a panicked attempt to get away from Carly's eardrum-popping shrillness. At that precise moment, Carly, horrified at the mirror image of her awfulness reflected in Kendall, turns her hair-straightening iron on herself. Zach kills Sonny in order to get his heart "to save Kendall" but the doctors sadly tell him nothing more can be done. Jason shoots Zach in revenge and then trips over Carly's plugged-in hair-straightening iron, accidentally shooting himself Out of Sight-stylee.

That is so entertaining...That would be interesting, but I think out of those characters, Carly could be salvaged. I like Laura Wright, but they have ruined Carly since she came back. The reason she was so fun in the first place was because she was wild and trashy, now she has become something of a self imposed matriarch, who is very boring...But she could be salavaged.

    • I have a feeling we won't truly be seeing their stories until the fall; right now, what they've inherited is the mess of the "writer", per their own admission.
    • This evil woman is really gonna frame Eva for Laura's attempted murder. Wow
    • I stopped watching Days for several months because the show was cartoonish and dumb as hell as written by Ron.  I starting watching again in March and I am happy to see improvements in the day to day scripts. However, Paula and Jeanne will need to start telling bold and intelligent stories to keep me watching.  Stephanie the romance novelist and Sarah's allergies aren't going to cut it for me. I'm sure Bo's return and John's death will be engaging and emotional but it will take strong long term stories to turn this show around. I really hope they can do it.
    • A partial episode from June 1985 was uploaded - I don't think it's been up before. You get Susan Marie Snyder's brief appearance. In a lengthy set piece where Rick is going undercover in some punk bar, he introduces himself to her. There's a surprising moment where when she says her name is Sam, he is thrown and is about to ask a very personal question before she further explains that it is short for Samantha. Grant Show is one of those guys who is classically very good looking, but I'm not sure how often I've ever actually felt attracted to him. This episode is an exception. He just looks hot as hell in what they put him in and how they do his hair and face. I can't say I go back to this period of the show very often, but I certainly am glad I watched this one.

    • I have no use for Derek but I was happy to see them exploring Naomi and Ashley's friendship again. More of that, please! I was stunned when Ashley asked Naomi about the Ted drama. We actually got a lot of interesting combos today. Tomas/Eva, Kat/Smitty, a rare Martin/Ted sighting and Vanessa/Nicole, among others. This was a good breather from all of the drama of the past few days. Because of pre-emptions I expected a random ending and not a proper cliffhanger but I literally jumped when I saw Leslie walk into Nicole's house! That was the perfect way to end things and along with the prevent, I'm excited to finally get back to a full 5 episodes next week!
    • I’m not going to take Dani seriously going off on Ted when she was willing to overlook all of Bill’s affairs in her own marriage and only got her feelings hurt when her ass was left. Absolutely hate that she’s getting a dedicated showcase scene like that - I think this is where MVJ’s personal friendship with Karla Mosley removes objectivity when writing for Dani as a character sometimes.
    • @slick jones An episode (maybe the only episode?) of Susan Marie Snyder's Ryan's Hope stint has popped up. June 1985. Her character's name is Samantha. I'll post the video in the show's thread.
    • Damn, Leslie is going to make Eva take the fall for Laura's accident!
    • Queen Leslie did look good barging in there though, lol
