Surprised Diane Kruger got the nod instead of Melanie Laurent for Basterds. She is much more deserving IMO. The list is ok, I guess. Other than Basterds I am as of yet not really invested in any of the big contenders this year. I have never seen the appeal of George Clooney..... and the trailer for Up in the Air didn't interest me whatsoever, but critics apparently are having an orgasm for it.

Sandra Bullock... wouldn't it be something if she got an oscar nomination? She'd never win, but that would be quite amazing to see. Never thought I'd see the day.
