As Y&R has been the soap I have watched the most for a few years now (I can count on one hand how much I have watched any other), most of my picks will be from that soap how-ever I do have a few from GH and Days.

10)Y&RPhyllis slaps Heather. Who didn't love that moment?

9) Y&R The addition of Stacy Haduik to the cast

8)Y&R Jack finds out Billy may have fathered Sharon's baby, The slap from Phyllis

leading upto the reveal leading up to the Billy Jack face off was excellent

acting by all

7)GH Claudia's misdeeds exposed by Sonny at her own party. I liked the pace of the scene.

Maurice was good and I loved Sarah Brown here as Claudia as well as the followup

car scene with Laura Wright.

6)Y&R Phyllis vandalizes Sharon room while Sharon and Nick sleep together again! I liked

the production elements, the direction as well as raw acting from MS shown in

juxtaposition with the subtle heat between JM&SC. Also liked SC 's mini breakdown

as Sharon, the mirror image messaged "I hate myself" was excellent

5)Days Sami finds out Nicole took her baby. I liked watching Ali as Sami slapped AZ's

Nicole around but AZ impressed me quite a bit here as she showed the layers of

the blended pain, defiance, deceit, loss, desperation. I eneded sympathizing with

Nicole. Loved it

4)Y&R The Abbot dinner party. Loved the dramedy

3)Y&R Victor discovers Adam may "inherit" his mother's blindness, very touching scenes.

Engen and Braeden brought the best out of each other

2)Y&R Jess Walton decided to stay on board Y&R

1)Y&R The cakefight and the reveal that Jill and Katherine aren't mother and daugther.

brilliance by all involved

I get my years confused...

Victor explaining to Elvis how it was going to be while Stefano was prisoner

Victor telling Chloe her natural state was to be undressed

Victor saying rather than contributing to charity to hear Chloe sing, he would like to know how much he would have to pay to get her to not

Victor telling Brady to save the noble BS and get lost if he was not going to be of help (at the hospital immediately after Philip was shot)

Stefano telling Kate the doctors describe her as a preexisting condition

On GH:

Luke and Ethan singing Stray Cat Strut

Holly telling Lucky he has to get over himself

Mac at Maxie's wedding (rehearsal/wedding/reception)

Franco telling Jason how much he worships him and how they are two of a kind

Helena telling off Liz

(I did like the scene where Michael killed Claudia, that and Sonny telling Claudia off were near misses)

Since I've only been watching Y&R, here's a few of my favorite moments of this year:

- Jill and Kay find out that they aren't related after all, and the angst between them. (Pretty much only the beginning of this)

- The mystery of Mary Jane (Also, only the very few first episodes)

- Heather ripping into Adam for lying to her by having him arrested.

- Karen ripping into Neil for being an SOB.

Damn, I guess that's it.

    • His original motives were unclear and all we knew was that he was working for Iris. But when it was revealed that Evan was Janice's son we found out that he had fallen in with Iris not because he wanted to follow Iris specifically but because he had his own anti-Rachel agenda. Charles Grant had more charisma than the later recast Eric Scott Woods who seemed younger to me.
    • Throwing this out to the universe: finding Elisabeth Shue's episode of As the World Turns (which I guess would have been circa 1983, maybe just before RDJ started watching Search for Tomorrow).

    • I thought today was still good. Leo is always awful, but the characters treating him like he's a plague feeds my soul. Rafe in particular had been very passive about him, but today was wonderful seeing him put Leo on notice. I really think it's being written that Javi is going to have to eventually take the blinders off and see Leo for who he really is. Them having sex on Gabi's desk made me want to explode. Roman taking in stray Doug was nice to see. And the mention of Frankie and Max was unexpected, but good to know they're at least being thought of. Tate being petty and a bit vindictive by going back to Sophia's as soon as he saw Doug with Holly was entertaining for me. I think I actually like Tate the most out of all of them because he's so damn messy.  Is Holly about to be kidnapped? Her first time? Also, Gabi finally revealing what happened with her the night EJ was shot and the clearing of all the other main suspects, but Johnny made this still feel like an important episode. I think Johnny will be cleared soon enough leaving everybody at a loss for the hell shot EJ. How the real shooter will be revealed is going to be interesting.  Speculation: When Kristen finally puts together that her daughter Rachel shot him, she'll agree to frame her mother for the crime, while keeping her hidden away from Salem.
    • That would have saved the Anita singing segment -- having her by herself, singing quietly and reflectively. Belting it out like she was in church did not work. The black screens fade at the end was a mistake. BTG insists on being different with these fades for the sake of being different, and it's not working.   I thought all of that was just fine. Worked for me.   I'm going to disagree with this. Martin hasn't had many scenes with his parents, but he's been around family A LOT -- and that's what matters. We also know Martin is someone with a hair trigger response. He can be very emotional when discussing an issue before getting to the logic and reason of it all.
    • My view of Evan is that he's smart but not as smart as he thinks he is, not a good guy but not an entirely bad guy - he's a lot of things, the show never quite knowing what to do with them. I never saw him as Iris' follower because Iris always seemed a bit in over her head from the start.
    • She was the Town Historian, who knew a bit too much about Brandon and the infamous cottage.  SF was still a pretty normal place at that time, with Nola and Reva being the most outrageous citizens....seems that Carrie Pipper would have stood out a bit more for people.
    • Credits for Tuesday, May 6, 2025: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten Writers: Micah Steinberg, Kate Hall, Cathy Lepard Director: Tina Keller
    • Yes, I need to dot hat. Also on my list talking to the person I got these files from since they clearly have a mess, in terms of dates being wrong. And, unfortunately finding one date wrong, automatically means more are wrong, too.
