I hate to say it but ICAM!!!! No one should be rewarded as #1 for this craptastic writing. Though I am ambivalent about last week because it was Thanksgiving week and I enjoyed watching all the families and all the kids being on so maybe not last week then. I love my Y&R but I want another show to be nipping at their heels even if I don't watch any other show. Good competition is always good, it should make one want to do better. And if the Comcast/NBC deal gets approved and Days keeps improving, they will at least have a bigger pocket that can help them out.

I like a lot of Y/R stories: Asheley/Sharon/Adam and the baby switch can't wait for when he gets busted

I want him to be totally in love w/Sharon then BAM the switch bites him in the ass...

he and Sharon Case has amazing chemistry.

I think Gloria and Jeffrey are hilarious together it was really funny stuff with them Michael steering them in the wrong direction..

Like the Neil/Katherine stuff re: the stock/going public

Glad that Lauren has a semblence of her own storyline w/the rat and all that

Waitng to see how the new Malcom pans out

I'm liking Mac.Billy.Cane.Lily in the quad re: the surrogate

and like Billy is being back to his old player self in the mist of all this

Looking foward to how the subpeonas to everyone being served re: the homocide

(liked Deacon/Phyllis scene)

Paul/Patty's Dr. good scene, Victoria / and her boredom w/not

being a major player and balancing her marriage/motherhood...

I'm liking Y/R and at least find it "watchable"

I like their dialog snappy stuff...

I don't do ABC shows anymore can't watch them too much

playing with their pets orchestrating them to eat up stories from others.

Bold and Beautiful is extremely soapy disappointed SJB's Sandy/Rick's Whip are cousins

they had awesome chemistry on GH and

The "Beaches" scene w/Stephanie/Mom/Pamela was awesome

I just find these shows very soapy...Hoping for higher #s for Days/an upsurge for ATWT

Still wondering if the Franco factor will kick in for GH this week...

I think that is her story "her finding out" its just a matter of when. I can't wait until she and Ashely finds out they've been played by Adam.

Sorry: but I do not like Sheila, never did from jump so? She was fine crazy once but the crazy got old.

I put up with her how many times?

Victor I like that he's gone only so I can see how it would be without him. I find too many roads (in story)

lead to him and no one rarely gets a chance to win against him...he has a tendency to eat the show for me. I like him

but I'd like others to get one up on him and it sticks like Jack (who I am also a fan of) always being scribed to loose.

its old...

there are issues for Y/R for me too....Dru being back would be the icing on my cake!

I too heard about this broad not wanting Victoria back if this is true my thing is still I didn't realize she was so "all powerful"

I mean who is she? Never heard of her outside of Y/R and she's not a good actress either ... I just put up with her because I like the

fact she's Dru's daughter other than that she can hike back to Paris for all I care. Her importance is nothing IMO other than being Drucilla's daughter.

I liked Daveeta's Lily far better anyway...need more DAVON!

no show is absolute...but in comparison to the garbage that

is GH it's such a relief to be there...and its prettier to watch than GH I like their settings/clothes

plus Elizabeth Hendricksen don't care what she does don't even like Chloe that much as a character I'm warming up to her

but EH I absolutely adore ...

...I like Days and I'd like them #1 because I just want them to be :D

They IMO deserve it.

    • Okay I can buy that when Brook Lynn was a teen.  Now she knows the child is a boy one would think she'd be slightly suspicious.  Then again, Gio looks nothing like either of them so maybe not lol.
    • I've been behind & just got caught up & the last 3 days were amazing!
    • Yeah.  The hot, poor bad boy with a chip on his shoulder but with a heart of gold was a common soap trope in the 80s

    • That's been an issue with me... the lack of a cohesive 'Have Not' crowd that has focus other than Leslie/Eva.   I would beef up Jan, Mona, Laura, Joey, and few other male characters.. and not just be out to overthrow the Duprees.. but co-existing and broadening the scope of the show since the show is called Beyond the Gates. I think the set up the show has with everything revolving around the Duprees will become predictable especially if they always win.   It would be like Victor Newman on Y & R for 40+ years.. always winning, hardly ever losing.   With MVJ/Guza.. both trained under that mindset... I fear that will happen.   I've always heard from a performer that is playing a character like Leslie/Dana that you have to find the victim/hurt beneath the surface in order to play a villain/villainess... and I think that's why I enjoy watching her.. because she brings so much more to the part than what the writers put on the page.
    • I figure that was really hard for Dom to do. I completely GET why they wrote it the way they did but I wonder if it was necessary. Meanwhile I have 2 really icky ideas in my head. Drew is going to blame Tracy KNOWING it was not her. Dante is going to blame Lulu.  After that, everyone else is going to be mad at Lois.  Tracy is going to double down on wanting to get rid of Sonny. Sonny's going to be more dug in to stay because he now has a new descendant.
    • I can actually buy Brook Lynn being so self-absorbed and incurious that she never thought to question why her mom and grandma were so attached to Gio.
    • It was overkill and the whole narrative Lois was too nice to the orphan kid when he was little, WHAT? Like Emma said no one thinks Gio is a troublemaker that gets 14-year-old kids drunk for fun. That being said, Lulu figured this Gio thing out in episode, but Brook Lynn never once questioned Lois and Gloria's attachment to a child that was the same age as the baby she gave up?  Ever?
    • Thanks for finding that. I may have been thinking of this blog entry.
