I'm 98% sure Brad Bell forbade the killing off of Amber when he agreed to let her come to Y&R. Thus, it follows that the same would be true with Deacon.

My guess is that it will be an imprisonment, or a disappearance.

It irks me that Little D, who was so roundly fought over on B&B, is neglected by his entire "family". Amber being a mother could, potentially, be interesting. But they don't want to play Little D's "real" age -- which in soap time would be "teen".

I disagree. I find Sean Kanan a very dynamic actor and Deacon is the kind of character on B&B that makes things happen. His presence (and that of his children, Little D and Hope) impact almost everybody's lives there. Rick considered Little D his son even after he found out he wasn't his. Hope is, of course, Brooke's child and she stopped him getting access to her. Cougar Jackie's first toyboy (that we know of) was Deacon and they had an intense but brief fling. He and Bridget have never really had closure. Not to mention his frenemyship with Whip back in the day.

I could go on with possible ideas. But I won't.
