SG is diving right in and going for it. Please no to Liza and Jake as lovers. JL and RPG don't have that kind of chem, imo. It's not just that the actress isn't great--it's that the character has much more potential. Way back we were told she was sexually abused at home as a kid, she became a prostitute, did some porn, had an affair with a senator, is VERY easily prone to going ever so slightly insane--so WHY is she portrayed like a 1950s soap heroine--pure as snow who jsu thas bad things happen to her? it's just not true to the character's history and really misses so much potential. Loved Tad and Opal (I was starting to kinda not like MEK for some reason but the past little while he's reallys tarted to endear himself to me again). For all hsi faults I dig that Pratt loves Opal--I hope that means we will see her in LA. I do agree though this Tad/Krystal thing is forced--I actually don't mind Krystal unlike many on here and I get why it's been pushed now that Taylor is basically off the show but the friendship/relationship with Taylor was one of the few things I was really liking the past month and its sudden dropping felt, even by AMC standards so obvious and quick (it happened over about two episodes during the endless dance marathon--one day it seemed like there was long term story future the very next, none) that this turn around isn't working for me. I don't think Liza and Jake will be lovers--there's no charisma there. That said I would like it if they somehow started a plot to get Jake back with Amanda that involved Liza seducing David while thinking she was seeing Jake. And if it was fake, why would she tell Angie she'll give up all the incriminating evidence she has on Randi if Angie gives her enough pills to finish what she started? SG portrays Madison as someone who is in real emotional pain unlike lightweight Randi. Pratt has a chance to build Frankie and Madison into a strong compelling couple. Giving a large amount of pills to a person who just tried to kill themself makes it look as if you are assisting them. I didnt beleive she would have given Angie any evidence. Regarding Tad and Krystal, I don't get them as a couple. Didn't they marry out of convenience? How is it now that they could be soulmates? I guess I didn't see that turning point on screen.
