(Didn't Josh end up a minister by the end of the show, or am I dreaming that one?)

They brought in a relative of Reverend Ruthledge to work with him, although I think someone said the history wasn't quite right.

Well....Van was back, but not full time. I sure didn't need ****, sorry. But he's kind of inoffensive enough, considering.

And the Billy/Lizzie friendship worked on so many levels. It made Lizzie likeable as far as I'm concerned. It gives Billy an outlet for all his protectiveness. And you can tell he's trying to fix his own past in a way.

She was credited as a regular cast member and was on more often. But either way, its not important.

I didn't know that. It makes me happy though. When I watch the newer stuff, I never seem to find the credits.

It wasn't. Unless one of Ned and Mary Ruthledge Holden's offspring - or one of their offspring's offspring - changed their surname to "Ruthledge" out of respect for the late Reverend Ruthledge, there's no way that minister could've been a member of the Ruthledge/Holden family.

I do love the idea of bringing Stacey. She should've come back with Nola. If there was one legacy kid who should've been a slamdunk to impact Springfield, it's Stacey.

It would have been great if she was played by the Drew actress...I mean did we need another character not connected to anyone (who we know down the line will be as Drews convoluted story) who is tied to yet another "record producer" storyline (they should have learned after Sampson Records or whatever.) Blanchard looks similar to Brown, and she had that nervous energy Lisa had when she was younger. Plus, in an interview Brown was talking about how talented TB was but seemed to imply she was a handful, which was a perfect daughter for Nola, who then could commiserate with Van about their pain in the ass daughters.
