But haven't you heard? Three installments were planned from the start.

It was just unknown whether Cameron would go on to direct that film based on an anime series or that underwater crap.

    Can't wait to see them. The movie is not going to bomb in terms of box office. The first movie made 2.7 billion with no built in fan base - now it does. But even if the next two films make half of what the first film did, 1.3 billion is still pretty awesome and it would be the 3rd highest grossing film of all time.
