I don't really get MAB's humor. How she thinks Jeffrey/Gloria and the Scoobies provide intentional comic relief baffles me.

If she wants to have a good balance of humor and dark mystery, all she has to do is put Lily in as many overwrought, melodramatic scenes with Sursok, Heinle and Morrow... all at once, crying over their respective pets. Obviously.

Cane/Lily would've worked so much better over the past few years if Cane had been hiding a secret (that didn't even have to be revealed until last month). Also, I liked Lily being angry and Nina and Neil. She's never this brand of angry. It's usually steeped in her superiority complex. It was nice for her to be insecure for a bit. And it was really out of character for her to be nosy, as she always wears the rose-colored lenses, but it was still nice to have her look into Cane's Blackberry.

It is slightly out of character, but it's nice to have her not be such a idiot. Granted, she's still way off base about Cane - but at least she's not walking around with blinders on. She's doing some digging, even if it's totally off the mark.

2010 Best Supporting Actress winner.

At least we get to see Zapato, but fisher has maybe one apperance this year. Fisher and Zapato need a bromance. Humphrey needs to plot to kill Lily and/or Cane ( a la Stewie Griffin).

    • I guess he was let out the gates, because he's outside.
    • Yup.  You can hate John all you want, but like seriously he was the cornerstone of the show for years.  So he should get a long ass funeral and burial and all the things because Drake and John deserve that.

      look who’s at a party I’m at
    • Yes. We should absolutely move on from John/Drake's 40 year legacy on the show to see what Leo is going to do tomorrow.  Lol.  This can't be a serious post.

I came in with a dream and left with a purpose. From lecture halls to rehearsals, community work to creative sets, every moment shaped me. I’m so proud of the stories I’ve told here — and the ones still unfolding. Grateful to everyone who poured into me, supported me, challenged me, and believed in me. Fours up and peace out! #UCLA #ClassOf2025 #BlackBruinExcellence #YearbookVideo @jordanward
    • The actor who plays Martin has been teasing that nobody has guessed Martin's secret. I love that for things like that and the June story we have no idea. I feel like if we didn't have the day ahead feeds Anita's reveal would've been shocking as well. I love that they aren't going the obvious route with these stories.
    • I tried following the news in Los Angeles at https://laist.com (independent public radio and news) They had up-to-the minute accurate info during the wildfires in January. There's no video, no impact to my mind as to what's happening. Trying other outlets, to get the truth, but it's hard.
    • That's a bit murky since that happened during a writers' strike. Assuming Kristen Marie had a 2-year contract she left about when her contract would have expired and Sharlene and Josie showed up right before that. Lemay was officially credited as HW from September 1988 but it seems very probable that his anticipated tenure influenced events that happened during the strike which started in April.
    • I've seen so many posters over the years who are bright, creative, well-versed in soap history, and who care deeply about the integrity of the genre. I'd put the shows' chances in their hands a lot faster than I would allow any of the "usual suspects" to take control of the dramas they've already helped decimate. When I returned to university in the 1980s, I created a bible for a new soap and presented it in my screenwriting class. It was in reaction to how badly I saw the network shows being butchered at the time. The creative process was thrilling; a total joy, and I still smile when I remember the positive feedback I received from the professor and my fellow students. I was used to seeing written commentary from professors on my work. This one wrote me a long, complimentary note on the final page of the bible, but also graded it 97%, A+. I was beaming ear to ear for days!
