Man, Adam is so lucky! Some twist of fate always saves him from being discovered, but this time the twist was a zero sum cause the sucker is gonna be blind. Of course, Hope who had the same condition, had the opportunity to get her eyesight back by surgery - which was many years ago. Victor should have mentioned that. I'll admit, there are many holes in the story and yes, people are being stupid when they shouldn't be, but it still entertains me. Watching this story unfold, showing Victor so weak trying to keep his "new" family together is compelling to watch.

I do wish they'd explain why Abby and Noah are so rarely seen at the ranch when they live there. Also, there doesn't seem to be any compelling need for Noah to emancipate as Sharon and Nick hardly see him, have almost no control over him, don't even live with him. i guess he's trying to lash out but he should be hapy, IMO. He can do Eden all day and night, drive around in a cool car, and everyone around him is too busy with their own stuff that he can do pretty much whatever he wants.

The gay fashion guy at RS - I wonder if he's going to be a part of the Rafe s/l? I don't think they'd be compatible though - if you get my drift, unless Rafe plays pitcher and catcher, cause guy at RS style sure ain't!

Cashton... I remember very clearly about Hope's blindness and possible surgery. The doctors said that her blindness was caused by a combination of severe cataracts, and retinitis pigmentosa. The doctor could fix the cataracts with surgery, but because of her age, the retinitis pigmentosa would have her left with very little sight, if any. If she had gotten the cataract surgery as a little girl, she would have sight, but lost it again later in life.

Can Adam accidentally kill Heather during one of his schemes?!?!

I really hope she leaves when Adam eventually gets exposed or something else causes her to leave Genoa City for a LONG time......

Your memory ain't all that wrong. She said that she didn't want to go thrugh with it because it wasn't worth it to her, and it might change who she was. Victor wanted her to...because it was possible for her to have a little bit of sight. So the reason you cited was a big part of her decision, and she talked about that.

Watching Thursday's US ep right now.....Peter Bergman does the voice over for "The role of Adam is now being played by Michael Muhney." He's pretty natural in his first scene - a sign of an experienced actor.

I have missed that line. It would be more perfect if Bern Bennett were saying it...

CE's last scenes as Adam Oh boy, am I going miss him gracing my screen. The silver and not insignificant lining -- I will finally stop feeling guilty about rooting for such a sick fucked up character.

MAB totally thinks the Scoobies are the future of Y&R. Maybe they could adopt Zapato and get Kay to buy them a Mystery Van, then their Metamorphosis into the knock-off a childish cartoon will be complete.

I actually didn't mind her today until she started bitching out Eden. However, I think they both have improved quite a bit but I'd still like to have seen Darcy Rose Brynes grow up on screen like OLTL's Kirsten Alderson.

about CE--what a gem TIIC threw away. Not only a great actor but such great character and future storyline potential utterly ruined. I agree-I had sympathy for Adam too when I knew I shouldn't. Why did they just not go the soap affair route w/ CE & ED...amazing chem...that's soap not this nonsense...what a waste! Instead, we'll go all dark and depressing and make (should be) core character Adam a baby killing pyscho out of the blue..yeah...NOT!!

This is a freaking riot! Thanks for the well needed laugh. But when you really think about it, it's quite sad that MAB is so far removed from her audience she is billing this to quality entertainment.

I remember it clear as day when the NotLeen recast was introduced and Greg Rikkart did the voice over.

Adam was sacrificed for ratings...which, since the ratings have been going down, may not have been the best choice.

You could see from a mile away the "ironic" twist of Adam blinding himself. I'm glad that's out of the way.

I agree and I still think they should have went the affair route with Cougar Ashley and Adam... what a way to get back at the ole man with Adam fathering her child aka Victor's grandchild. Maybe I can finally start to hate the character of Adam with CE gone since he played the part so sympathetic. I was actually glad that Victor was blaming himself for causing Adam's blindness albeit was a lie, but you get the point. On the other hand, did Adam really not realize that sticking a needle in his eyes was going to cause irreversible damage? Really?
