It won't be better until we drive Amelia's ass off this show.

That's the thing.

Even with in character writing Amelia doesn't do fierce or strong.

At best she does milquetoast.

Exactly.

anyone else find it highly disturbing that Ashley is walking around town with a dead baby inside her?

I'll live with it for now. She's not the worst thing on Y&R.

I was more pissed at all those writing regimes writing her as a heroine. She was the last character who needed a face-lift. Now if they could get to a point where she does as she damn well please because she's Victoria Newman and even her family won't get in the way of her ruining her company over the next few months.

Well, with recast talk in the air, who knows how long we'll be seeing Amelia on for...

Maybe they're thinking about retooling the character back to her original incarnation, hence recast rumours running rampant.

She's not. That's been established to many people's dismay and disgust.

I LOVE THAT THE BOTOX BOTTLE BROKE. Awesomeness!!

Ashley had a full miscarriage. The baby came out the same night she fell down the stairs. Adam, cruel motha****** that he is took the fetus and burned it in the fireplace with Ashley's bloody clothing.

She isn't, the fetus was apart of the "mess" Adam burned.

Ashley was 5 months pregnant when she miscarried, realistically, she should still have some dead tissue from the fetus inside of her. But, since this show isn't exactly logical, I guess they want us to believe otherwise.

Cashton I loved that clip so damn much, I was jumping up and down for joy. "It's not a threat... It's my personal guarantee," in her cold whisper. Wow. free-jumping-smileys-1029.gif

Whoa so many GREAT things in Tuesday's episode.

VICTORIA'S crawling out of the shell that was Fauxtoria, y'all. First, she yells at Victor for getting over Sabrina, then nearly shoulder's Ashley out of the way, then stares down JT with a "Don't 'Victoria' me!!"

I see the beginning of a beautiful beautiful renaissance. VICTORIA!!!!!! Like a phoenix rising out of the ashes... Yeah, it's the damn crate that caused it, clearly. There'll bring her to the doctor's and some lousy s/l will be brought from that but if she could remain a HBIC indefinitely after all those doctors test her, I'd love it. At this point, I'm desperate for anything to cause Victoria to be a HBIC again.

I wish I could get a 3 sec clip of EB mouthing: "What?" as AH storms out of the ranch. LOVED THAT!!

And Victor FINALLY getting over Sabrina. I wish they could explain his blindness towards Adam's schemes from either his epilepsy or his depression over losing Sabrina. Now that Victor's shut the door to that chapter, he'll see Adam for who he really is.

I actually enjoying the scoobies a bit today. I like how this is becoming something more serious, even though it's obviously drawn out of a shallow, dull place. Jana denied bail? She's GOT to get that brain tumor buzzing again. Inevitable death at the end of the year? And Daniel out trying to find the guy who's framing him with Amber may lead to something good

I suppose that's where Sean Keanan comes in. <sigh>

Hated hated hated the courtroom scenes. They were incredibly hollow. Vail is really bad as a lawyer. Someone give her another profession. I like her a lot more than Frantz. And she should be in scenes with EH, another buddy buddy duo with EH would be great. Frantz/Ford and Hendrickson/Bloom.

Interesting theory that Victoria is going bonkers from getting hit in the head again. Wonder is this is her exit story before the rumored recast.

The writing for Amelia is so uneven that it would be hard for such a mediocre actress to build a strong performance with one well written episode every six months. She'll never be great as Victoria, but she could be very passable if they were consistent. That's what I want, true to form writing for six months. If she can't handle it then let her go. Of course if Heather Tom becomes available anytime during that six months, bitch better kick rocks!

If they show ever had to be preempted, I was happy it was this episode. I was bored for the most part and just had it on in the background. I need to rewatch it on SOAPnet.

I didn't like the courtroom scenes either. However, I did like the ending with the mystery man - this makes the storyline a little better now.

That had to be Deacon's hand. Oh, I get why he's back. He's a grifter like Gloria. He realizes Amber's ties. He wants her money, and he has to get rid of Romalotti to get it. Money as motivation: what a shock.

It was like watching two chickens with their heads cut off.

I also thought it was an odd choice for Bloom to walk out of the courtroom like a stuck-up prissy bitch with her hand up in the air. She should not have done that. People already hate her. This is where I appreciated Bell in her DA position. She never seemed stuck-up to me. Self-righteous, dull, and annoying 80% of the time. But never stuck-up.

Yes. Soon!!!

If the rough MTS talks can be resolved, I believe anything can happen on this soap behind the scenes.

Blind Item from DC - putting it in spoiler tags just in case -

Don't be surprised when one of your favorite soap antiheroes gets a nasty surprise in the form of a trouble making sibling he never knew about this summer. This relation is already secretly pulling stunts to torment his or her bro's circle of friends, and from what we hear, it will only get worse once it is revealed who the new villian is working with!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....................
