The annoying thing about Tyra is that she SUCKS in small doses, let alone if they were to give her excessive airtime.

My biggest fear about Victoria being recast is losing Thad Luckinbill. He's the only one left from the original 'teen scene' and given a chance, Thad can act.

I don't think he is a major actor. But back in the Glow by Jabot days he was a wonderful source of snark and sexiness. It was a nice counterpoint to the goody-goodies.

Something was lost when he got neutered by Colleen...but even then, she was trying to tame the bad boy. When he stopped being bad, he stopped being fun.

Compared to a lot of other characters, she's frontburner, and most of her stories are tailored around what is supposed to make her look best.

I think there are a number of characters on Y&R who have run out of time but I think there's still more for JT if they bother to write for him. They haven't actually written for him as a character in 2-3 years. I'm more bothered by the characters who have been written for and seem to be repeating stories, like Kevin, or Gloria.

JANUARY - 3 appearances

FEBRUARY - 3 appearances

MARCH - 2 appearances

APRIL - 5 appearances

MAY - 8 appearances

JUNE - 1 appearance for now

And in my opinion, she's had waaaaay too much airtime. It should be an absolute 0.

The more I think about it, the more I feel that Heather Tom and HT alone should be Victoria. Yes, other actresses can play the part, but HT is so perfect as Vicky, why go for someone who is 90% of what you want?

Who knows if Heather Tom wants to come back or if she'll be able to come back. Victoria is too important of a character to wait for Tom to be free. I love Tom, but other skilled actresses can deliver, but again, the writing has to be there too.

He really has lasted too long on this show and other than Victoria and Reed, he has NO ties to GC. Unless they just keep him around to fill Paul's shoes when they finally decide to axe Davidson. The last time he actually "acted" was with his confrontration with Adrian Korbel and AL's Colleen, JMO though.

Are you aure? because i thought i remember reading Kimsey say she was the in the final two for Viki with AH and AH got it, but then they gave her Mac.

I remember an interview with Heinle where she said she originally read for Mac, but was offered the role of Victoria instead.
