Only Eileen Davidson, Deidre Hall and Drake Hogestyn reached 100 episodes quicker in the past. Here is the complete list of actors who have appeared in 100 episodes by the end of June.

Zucker can also move up on the list of most appearances between January-June of a calendar year. As of June 17, she has appeared in 101 episodes this year. With 9 more episodes airing from June 18-June 30, Zucker could get to second place if she appears in at least 7 of those 9 episodes, and would rank only behind Eileen Davidson (Kristen/Susan), who set what most likely will be a never-beaten record with 117 appearances between January 1-June 30, 1997.

with the smaller, tighter cast and the focus on a few stories and Ali having more time off (mat leave; the biggest loser) it makes since as to why shes been on so much.

I actually sort of love Ari but she is on a lot and her character reminds me of Theresa on Passions in that way. Probably because she is driving this HUGE umbrella SL on Days right now. I'm assuming that once it is played out, we'll be seeing more of the other SLs. I smell a WTD in Nadja Bjorlin's future, for example -- not that I'm excited about that tired old plotline. And then we have some reported vet returns and a few newbies who will probably distract attention. One returning vet in particular is sure to be showcased a lot.

Ari is cool, but Nicole's is coming off as so nasty, whiny, and foolish. I'm sick of that character every time I tune in.

Not to mention, whoever is doing Ari's hair and wardrobe appears to HATE her.

I think we will get a lot less Nicole for now on. With TBL being on break, they can use Ali more.

and with CC coming back...

even with a WTD i doubt NB will be on more than she is now. She isnt lead and days seems to know that.

Seriously. Ari's locks are gorgeous, her crowning glory, but they are styling that hair into some kind of mullet! I mean, she looks like THIS:

Jp, definitely when CC comes back, we are going to see a major Bo/Hope SL. If the Alamains ever return, Victor and Kate will likely be deeply integrated in that plot, too.

Im thinking that WK is a big part of her story.

Ijust hope this means the exit for Hopeless, i really HATE her! LOL.

it does seem like days is gearing up for major Kiriakis-ness.

her airtime is excessive. I don't get it, DOOL just a few years ago was more of an ensemble show. Now it is the Nicole Tyler Moore hour.

Anything beats the sluttypsychoScamiBradybabymachineShow!

I *love* Kiriakisness. They had been neglected for far too long.

The Kiriakis vs DiMera feud has breathed new life into the show. I couldn't take Stefano seriously when he was all about Rolf and brain chips and secret serums. Now that he's fighting over business and power with Victor, I totally don't know who is going to win. I wouldn't rule either wily ole foxes out.

Ari is also the first performer from any daytime show to reach 100 episodes this year. Vincent Irizarry and Thorsten Kaye should also hit 100 this week!

Here JER deserves some credit. He had a huge cast in 2004/2005 and juggled everyone effortlessly. From John and Marlena, to Bo and Hope, Shawn/Bell/Rex/Mimi/Jan, Kate/Sami/Lucas, Jennifer, Bonnie and Patrick, even Mickey and Julie...and still managed to keep the audience apprised of what long absent characters like Abe, Roman or Victor were up to. There was no one true star of the show.

i hated his second run, but i willg ive him that. He knew how to play the entire cast.

However he also for th most part kept them isolated.

In awful storylines. I'll take Ari being on a lot in a much better storyline then the awfulness that was anything he did in his second run on the show.
