The show was #1 well before she ever came there. She's talking generally too, not with African American viewers alone. This woman comes off as totally full of herself sometimes that it's hard for me to take her seriously.

It makes me sad. Everytime I read something like this it makes it clear that VR is not coming back any time soon. I know I need to just accept it, but there is such a huge hole on the show where Dru used to be. Damn.

I agree, don't get me wrong, I like her as an actress and she makes some valid points. However, she lets her ego get the best of her in interviews and her points become wrapped up in it.

There's a difference between being passionate about the genre and crediting yourself as the reason the show shot to #1...

I don't doubt her passion, but her ego is a major turn off.

Ego can go a long waY. It's too bsd it got her off the show; but, again, she would've been watered down or driven crazier if shr stayed.

I'm glad she's exactly the way she is, honestly. I hope she finds success in the near future.
