Yeah, I was expecting more "oomph" in those scenes. Something was a wee bit off but I can't put my finger on it.

I can, it's called bad acting and weak scripts.

And story beats that don't make any sense.

I don't read spoilers, but does the show get any better for May sweeps? Does something big happen? A yes or no will do since I don't want to know, but I want to look forward to something.

I watched OLTL today, it was OK. Didnt love anything about it, hated a lot of it. But it entertained me for the hour.

I just feel like the show has no overall direction and the story lines are written as they go.

No.

Well, not in my opinion anyways.

I second that.

Of course they had to go the typical route with Kyle blackmailing Nat and Jared. Their confrontation really fell flat for me.

For me it is the actor who plays Kyle. I don't think he has connected with his material yet

Can you blame him? I think even Laurence Olivier or Anthony Hopkins would look at whatever's going on in the story, say WTH?, and then stomp off the set.

OMG it's back to Degrassi today.

Hey! "Degrassi" is off-the-chain! Don't be hatin' (or comparin' it to OLTL)!

:D

I love Markko/Langston. Two teenagers, in love, thinking responsibly about having sex.

They're the best couple on this show ... for now.

I don't understand why Powell isn't also targeting Nora, since she pretty much sealed his fate by throwing the trial. Maybe he's seen a recent photo of her and figured she'd be immune to his Botox laced Spring Fling invitations.

Going that route I would have loved if Nora and Todd then had to work together to survive.

^But that would take the focus off of Tea/Todd/Blair/John/Marty and give Bo and Nora an interesting story to reunite.
