Which soap characters do u thinks are Dems and which are Repubs?

AMC: All the Chandlers

Jackson

Ryan

Hubbards

Brot&Taylor

Martins other than Jake

are IMO all Repubs while The Kanes and Zach are the only Dems in Town

GH:Really not sure?

OLTL:Every single character are Repubs.

GL:Every single character are Repubs.

ATWT: Everyone but Luke are Repubs.

B&B: The Forresters are hardcore Right Wing Repubs.

DOOL:Have no clue?

Y&R: Every single character but Chole and maybe Mac are Hardcore Repubs.

The Buchanans remind me of true Republicans. Bo, Clint, Kevin, Nora, etc...

The right to bare arms: maybe Sonny and Jason are supports of the Republicans on GH =P

On AMC i forgot about Reese's parents. They're as Right Wing as you can get.

I don't think most characters in daytime are Republicans by a mile lol

Most of the familes seem to be Repub.

I name very few Dems.

Kevin is for sure. He had that little exchange with Binks over gay Marriage.

I seem to recall a thread about this awhile back. I think Cat even said that Victor from Y&R was probably a Libertarian IIRC.

ATWT: The Hughes and The Snyders resemble big-time Republicans.

B&B: The Forresters remind me of those wealthy celebrity Democrats.

OLTL: The Buchanans clearly resemble Republicans, The Cramers resemble Democrats. Rex and Roxy seem like third party types, while the Lords probably

are moderate Republicans.

Y&R: I think it was almost made clear during the politics storyline that Jack is supposed to be a Republican and Nikki a Democrat.

The Buchanans (at least Asa anyway) were/are Democrats....as mentioned last summer in the 1968 storyline, when it was noted that Asa had had LBJ come over to the ranch a few days before so that he could give him a campaign donation.

I disagree. I don't think the Martins or Hubbards would necesarily all be Republicans. And some characters like Zach I don't see having any party affiliation.

I think Robin from GH is probably a democrat. She's expressed a lot of liberal opinions.

I think Rex and especially Roxy are more apathetic than anything else.

I don't see ATWT's Hughes and Snyder families as Republicans for some reason. IDK, it may have to do with appearances (which is bad, I know). Noelle Beck's Lily looks more Republican than Martha Byrne's Lily did.

All soap characters are democrats. They all believe in untraditional and blended families, stem cell research to help in cloning, and government subsidized everything since nobody ever has to pay for anything or ever go to work.

The Buchanans from OLTL definetly come across as Republicans to me. Especially coming from Texas with their oil companies

Texas was pretty much ran by the Democrats at that point so im sure all the oil people just went with who was in power. I could not see Asa being a modern day Democrat.

LBJ set up an network where if anyone wanted money from Texas theyhad to go through him.

If someone crossed him in cut off the cash

Most if not all of LBJ's Texas supporters went on to support the Bush Family.

How did a Texas Oil Family end up in PA?

Well Clint came to PA first, when Joe Riley hired him as the new editor of The Banner.

The rest is a little fuzzy....since it all happened right around the time I was born almost 30 years ago. :P
