B&B: Week of April 27, 2009

Years after Caroline died, "Faith", a brunette country-style waitress in a diner was discovered (I want to say by Taylor's ex, Blake Hayes...but I can't remember). Anyway, she came to town, and it was revealed that when Caroline was a baby, her twin was abducted.

You're right, it was Blake (whatever happened to him?). He wanted to break Taylor and Ridge up. Then Karen did meet Ridge at a party, and he was shocked, but nothing ever came of it. Karen then had no real story on the show, aside from very pointless relationships with Thorne and Connor. At the time all I could think was, "Why did they bring her on only to do nothing with her??" I didn't realize this was going to be the question I'd ask myself for most B&B casting decisions for the next 15 years.

Best summary ever written!

I'm not worthy.

Dorothy Lyman played the woman who raised her, didn't she? I wonder if Dorothy is still acting. I know she directed The Nanny for years.

I seem to think you are right, but didn't they say they would run to city hall or something and legalize it?
They never showed or confirmed this which I never got. I wish they hadnt have left things so ambigious

Oh, you're right. I totally forgot about that part.

They really shouldn't show Taylor flashbacks, it just goes to show how badly she's plasticing.

So true....so sadly true. I loved it when Taylor was aiding Ridge in catching Rick. She seemed like old Taylor. Wise and sage, something Taylor always was pre-Taylor's-Not-Dead era.

Haha, I spoke too soon. B&B finally addresses it and Ridge and Brooke have been confirmed to NOT be legally married

I just watched yesterday's episode. What has this show done to Heather Tom? All that spark is long gone.

I know what you meant about Bill's will reading falling flat, especially as there was no mention of Margo, but I did enjoy Bill's "jokes" to Donna and Clarke. I thought Susan Flannery gave a beautifully understated, warm performance which carried through all the scenes, especially her last scene with Karen. As sorry as I am Bill is gone, I'm glad we got a glimpse of the old Stephanie. And Joanna Johnson is as classy as ever.

They could have at least had Margo's son, that doctor guy, there for his mother. He'd never leave Margo out of the will. Why doesn't Brad remember important details of his OWN soap?!

Considering what happened to the last attempts to mine history (Storm, Donna, Katie), maybe we should be happy Margo wasn't mentioned.

She doesn't post here anymore. She said something about not having time.

He said that he received very good news (and indeed it was) but it would be about something that requires a lot of his time.

Is actor bashing allowed here? You can't seem to resist taking any opportunity to bash Hunter Tylo. At least your consistent, I'll give you that.

If you disagree, by all means disagree. Why attack the poster though?
