April 17, 200916 yr Member I know I wasn't the only one who watched today? RIP Talia. I don't think Fish is the killer anymore.

April 17, 200916 yr Member Well you know who was awful today so I prepared my first film. Its not anything special but it ws fun to try. http://www.xtranormal.com/watch?e=20090417164750681
April 17, 200916 yr Member Can't stand Talia, she would have been perfect for the toilet. Gabrielle was totally f-ed over by that writing team. I never forgave those hacks for that move. Gabrielle and Bo had potential. I love Fiona. Beth Ann Bonner's character was a useless bore.
April 17, 200916 yr Member There goes a strong female character. You can count those on a few fingers at this point. Then again, she was probably only strong because she almost never had a storyline. So much of OLTL seems made up as it goes along, but the Todd and Tea story is where I most see that. Todd/Marty - show loved it, viewers were, for some strange reason, repulsed by a rape victim being romanced by the man who gangbanged her, so that was dropped Todd/Blair - show hates them, show has no use for Blair, so Blair is hidden away until time to keep John away from the sainted Marty Todd/Tea - no baggage because she hasn't been on the show in almost 10 years. Instead she can be degraded all she wants and this story can be about Todd being a hot stud, not about anything Todd has done to people, how morally bankrupt he is, how the last few months have been one half-hearted attempt after another to try to make people sympathize with him. Tea wins out. Until it's time to discard her for Todd's next victim. I can see Todd/Stacey by the end of summer. I don't like John, or Michael Easton, but I thought Easton did a good job when he found Talia's body. range I enjoyed the video. Gigi was born without tears. The tray in her hand is a good touch. I forgot she had a job. Edited April 17, 200916 yr by CarlD2
April 17, 200916 yr Member I must be the only person who feels like OLTL ISN'T written on the fly. While I don't necessarily like the current crop of stories it does seem like there was planning, especially with the KAD Killer. Any clue as to who the killer is? Talia didn't look surprised to see whoever stabbed her.
April 17, 200916 yr Member I really do feel that the stories at OLTL change ALL THE TIME. Maria Arena Bell may be a pompous bore- but her stories are assured. The show is assured. If not in a paint dripping way. OLTL seems like a smash up of ideas. So much potential but something is always lost in the translation. I am semi enjoying the show. Its not a quality show by any means, but it is watchable. For every bad thing, there is a good thing. I am genuinely wanting to know who this killer is. I get the feeling Ron and company don't have an F-ING idea who that patient in the hospital bed is. They have probably narrowed it down to 4-5 men.

Talia didn't look surprised to see whoever stabbed her. I almost hope there isn't planning, because that would make more sense. I don't want to believe they brought back Lee after 20 years just to have her work for Todd and then get killed. Or that they brought on Wes, a friend to Brody who could have been part of the mystery of Brody's past and could have given Marty a new story, just to kill him and have Marty moon over John. Or that they actually planned to reduce Blair to John's thrall, to have her stabbed over and over, have Todd barely bat an eye. Then there's bringing Zach back only for a few weeks, out of nowhere, only long enough to make Todd and John look like big heroes.

April 17, 200916 yr Member Honestly? Never go by a character's reaction toward seeing the killer. It can be misleading (ex: Georgie Jones, GH). True, although I think it's Fish. LOL. As for long-term planning, I'm not saying that Wes and Lee were originally brought on to fulfill the story points they eventually filled, but the overall story is planned from the beginning: marty's alive, marty falls in love with todd, marty learns the truth, marty lashes out... as this is going on the next story is being planned. JMO.

JMO. Fish? But he's so sweet and lovable. I refuse to believe such thoughts. Ron has never said it was anyone on the canvas presently, so I'm expecting something lame. Though I did have to eat crow when it didn't turn out to be Zach or Powell.
April 17, 200916 yr Member I would bet my life Powell is the character that Scotty is talking about. I believe that Todd is the murderer in some form.
