He was a cop and Pacey always said he was in the closet. In the finale, thats flashed forward 5 years, Jack (who was gay) moved back to carpeside and became a teacher. he and Doug were dating in secret cuz Doug still wasnt out and Jack broke up with him because of it and having to raise jen's daughter after she died.
