AMC: Actress Out? Vet In?

  • Member
Numerous sources are saying the strikingly-beautiful Chrishell Stause and her popular character Amanda Dillon could be on their way out of Pine Valley.

"It's no secret Chrishell is leaving that the end of her current contract," says one source.

Reportedly the actress extended her pact with the sudser until July and has told people on the set she doesn't plan on re-upping with the show.

"They offered her a four-year contract," says another mole.

Look for Liza's mother Marian Colby Chandler to be on hand when Jamie Luner makes her debut in the role. Sources say Jennifer Bassey will start taping soon.

Fighting Liza from Zach probably.

I'm guessing that Zach/Liza is just temporary and then she'll move onto Tad, and probably several other men. IMO the Zach/Liza stuff is happening too fast to be permanent, probably just a fill in to get back to Zendall.

It does seem like Z & L is a one night stand, no strings attached thing.

That's too bad for Chrishell Stause. I do love Jennifer Bassey. I wonder if it will be only recurring still or if she will be on contract.

Jennifer has only been on contract from 1998-2003, the rest of her run has been recurring, if you can believe that! I'm sure she'll be recurring, this is ABC Daytime under Brian Frons.

I really loved it when Marian became a more central character, especially when they paired her with Stuart. Jennifer managed to secure an emmy nomination I believe in 1999 because of it. I love her. I loved Marian and Adam's squabbles  remember the party he threw for her showcasing all her ex-lovers to try and convince Stuart to drop her

Great news that Jennifer Bassey is coming out of the Martin attic as Marian. Hopefully she'll get Opal airtime. Now AMC give Lee Meriwether(Ruth) a lot more to do!

I sure hope Chrishell Stause isn't going to leave, if she does, I look for AMC to re-cast Amanda. AMC should steal Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth) from GH!

per SOD CS reupped with the show.

I guess that technically could just be referring to the reported extension through to July.... I really hope she stays. She's no emmy caliber actress, but she blends well with the show, has good chemistry with most people she works with. I think it would be a loss, considering now she actually is involved in B, sometimes A storylines most of the time.

According to MEK's latest radio interview, Liza is exactly who he wants for Tad!

Then he needs to get in shape for love scenes.
