Zach Slater.........there are no words.

I hate to say this, but, if David were like his old self, you know when he actually had a heart somewhere in that chest, I woudn't mind him with Amanda, because I think they have good chemistry, and obviously this pregnancy story would have played out differently from the get-go. But he's so disgusting, vile, and creepy this time around that I want him to suffer with KWAK for all eternity.

Kudos to Ryan for calling Reese on the mess of ridiculous contradictions she is. She went to Ryan to tell on Kendall because she doesn't like Kendall being in her way and she wants Zach to worship her again because she's a confused lesbian and Zach is just "so hot" he can make lesbians see the light. The same reason she told Adam the story, for Zach. Ryan calls her on it and she treats him like he completely misheard her noble ass, "no I'm just telling you this because I want to win Bianca's family over, get Bianca back" he calls her on how stupid that sounds, then "I'm the victim in this town, I'm tired of it." She does this with everybody, absurdly turns the situation around (not saying she doesn't have a point in the muck of crap every now and again, but rare). Lecturing people on owning their stuff when she's the queen of dodging ownership. Go join Babe, Reese.

Zach is a huge asshole. Nothing new there. BTW, Opal wins line of the day for describing the ape-brothers so accurately.

Zach and Kendall together is just nothing good at this point. I'll find Pratt and kiss his misogynist ass if he gives me single by choice Kendall this spring. I doubt there's any chance of that because it might not be as great and misogynistic as dumb slut stuck between assholes crap.

Sigh. Drugging one of his "whores" who's 'k with it because the sex is great and blackmailing his other "whore" who is in the position she is because she couldn't keep her legs closed and is easily bought with cash. I have such issues with the frontburner stories.

The stories that are on the backburner are being written okay (Brot/Taylor, the Martin men together, the small moments where they go back to playing Erica/Adam). Blessed are the ones that don't get the full attention of Pratt's pen, lol.

I couldn't disagree more about Reese. I'm not sure if Tamara Braun is playing against what's written, but so far I don't believe for one second that she was lusting after Zach or that she's staying around to be near him. TB has always made Reese sincere about wanting to win Bianca back by winning over her family. She went to tell Ryan the truth so he'd get off his RageMonkey vendetta against Zach, but clearly Ryan isn't smart enough to figure that out.

Zach just keeps sinking lower, between busting down his own door to force Kendall to take him back the other day and now attacking Adam's guard and manhandling Reese. Imo, he's now the worst character on AMC!

I loved the Tad/JR scenes today and Angie's support of Amanda at the hospital.

I agree with Steve about Tamara Braun's characterization of Reese. Tamara makes it pretty clear in her choices that she believes Reese is lesbian. Even when Reese and Zach were friends, she always played it more like buddies than attraction. Even in the scene when Reese accidentally dropped her towel in front of Zach, Tamara's choice was absolutely clear. She played it like, "Ew, my GAWD! Why did that have to happen?!" before she shut the door.

I think Reese was looking for that father figure, that buddy. I think she's upset about the whole Zach and Kendall thing because she knows Kendall despises her and if Zach wants to make Kendall happy, he'll drop his friendship with Reese and she loses yet another "dad" who'd rather drop Reese than disappoint the woman he's married to. Like I said, that's how I feel about Tamara's portrayal. In her interviews, she's come across very positive about being a part of something groundbreaking and historic and very up to the minute in regards to the social issues surrounding same-sex marriage. I don't think she wants to let that go. And this is coming from me... a person who couldn't have been happier to see her leave GH as Carly, because I thought she played that role all wrong.

Guest dc cubs

I agree with Angela's assessment of Reese. How is telling Ryan that Kendall was driving the car supposed to prove her love for Bianca. Reese just set up Bianca's sister to look very bad. Granted Kendall hasn't treated Reese with open arms but she is still Bianca's sister.

All the talk about the Reese and Zach connection. I think there is a big disconnect between how it is explained in interviews by AMC and the actors and what is shown on screen. AMC obviously was pushing the limits there. Reese admitted today that she was drawn to Zach and there were feelings there.

Zach was despicable today. Manhandling Reese. Yeah what a man

Krystal go to hell. Who ends up in tears right after their wedding? She is miserable and she can keep telling everyone how happy and in love she is with David, but she's only lying to herself

Eh. Not a fan, but whatever. It's just that from all the disdain regarding Zach and another Ryan and Reese scene, I was afraid it was a Rebecca Taylor day since she makes those two men absolutely horrid and totally unlikeable. I guess I'll watch later on tonight and get in the thick of this discussion.

Because Reese is not going to be caught in a lie down the road. She is going to be up front about everything she knows. If the truth came out later that Kendall was driving the car and Reese had known all along, she would have been caught being untruthful again. Good for Reese FINALLY realizing keeping secrets is not going to get you anywhere!

And if Reese really wanted to make Kendall look bad, she would report what she knows to the police.

From today's transcript - No, i did. I felt close to him. I was drawn to him. But the kiss was a mistake.

Does that necessarily mean a romantic connection? No! To feel a closeness to a person doesn't mean romance and intimacy has to follow. At least Reese isn't sexually confused like Bianca's past women. She is suffering from the process of coming out recently and not taking the time to get to know what that really means. That and the rest that follows is crappy writing by writers who either don't care or don't know what it's like to come out later in life. They haven't been true to the lesbian story in the past - no reason to think they will now.

    • I have not gone back to watch much of 1987, but from what I've seen lately, it doesn't feel like the writers or producers had any sort of plan. The show feels as if it's constantly in flux.  I will give it credit for this. It's watchable for the most part minus Lisa/Jamie which I find nearly unwatchable now.   I don't find Cheryl mousy. I think she has a lot of quiet strength, but she was saddled with the Scott romance which the writers did not invest in. She had a good friendship with Julie (also criminally underused), and her interactions with Ada were enjoyable as well. I also like Layman, but Spencer was extremely talented and when Cass returns, Schnetzer and Spencer have some wonderful scenes. Spencer also fits in with Alexander, Hogan, and Marie.  I'd forgotten just how much I missed seeing Wallingford. IT was so good to see him again. Even when they didn't have a major plot, Felicia/Cass/Wallingford/Mitch always brings a smile to my face.

    • NBC must have been grateful to have LHOTP, it's only hit and still strong after several seasons. Their next established show was Rockford Files at 45th. They didn't develop any comedies and relied on movies and mini series  which didnt establish viewer loyalty and habits. Their only new hit was mid season's Project UFO which debuted Feb up against Rhoda/On Our Own on CBS and How the West Was Won on ABC. It opened with a strong 36 share beating CBS and close to ABC as HTWWW had a 36 share over 3 hours. The next week UFO saw a respectable 32 share, then a 31 so it was slipping. A 28 share followed but a few weeks later it jumped back up to a 34. So no blockbuster but compared to what else they had, there was potential, So next season NBC sent it to Thursday up against Mork and The Waltons and it bombed.  They were smart to see potential in Chips, which took off on Saturdaysnext season. ABC was on a roll with Love Boat, 3's Company, Taxi, Eight is Enough adding to their hits. Their only real flops were Redd Foxx and San Pedro Beach Bums, an Aaron Spelling misfire. Like Redd Foxx, Harvey Korman was lured to ABC but his series was a filler that did well but was considered a time slot hit. Nancy Walker and Rob Reiner were also given series on the philosophy that not only were they popular names, their absence from popular shows like Sanford, Rhoda and All in the Family might weaken those shows. CBS were relying on old favorites. Betty White was strong the first few weeks then faded. Incredible Hulk was their strongest newbie. It was lucky for CBS that NBC was doing so badly or else some of their weaker shows would have really suffered.
    • That outfit looks like something Martin would wear lol.
    • Omg not we both ran into people from the show this weekend!
    • I guess he was let out the gates, because he's outside.
    • Yup.  You can hate John all you want, but like seriously he was the cornerstone of the show for years.  So he should get a long ass funeral and burial and all the things because Drake and John deserve that.
