Hey it's Michael B. Jordan (Reggie, AMC)! I miss that kid.

Debbi is gonna be the default for however long she stays as AMC the same way VR was when she was on Y&R. And why the heck not? She's the most prominent black actress in daytime. Who else could they give it to? I wish the pool were larger but unfortunately it's not.

Wait....House of Payne won an Image Award? The same sitcom that Tyler Perry produces that fired it's writers for trying to get union representation? Isn't this award about supporting minorities and programs that uplift their respective communities? Why would they award a show where the man who produces it doesn't believe his fellow African-Americans and their allies should have the perks that go along with having a writing career, like everyone else in the industry?

I mean, they've struck a deal with the WGA now, but his arrogance about it even after the deal is just really offensive. It's like he's complaining about giving writers union representation, but he is a member of SAG and the DGA.

I'm kind of surprised they would award him, but I know I shouldn't be.

You mean Tyler Perry's House of Painfully Unfunny? That show is a major disappointment imho. Some people need to go to Best Buy and get some Golden Girls dvds and learn what sitcom writing is all about.

I think Cornelius (??), Frankie on AMC was more deserving than Bryton, hell, even Brot!

I too hate Tyler Perry's House of Painfully Unfunny. I'm really not a big fan of his period. And he is selling his house, the most TASTELESS home in North America.

And yes, Golden Girls writing was excellent, I think the best when it comes to sitcoms, not one single episode disappointed me. It really stands up in re runs.

    • A poster on Bluesky has reminded me that this was that awful story where Jen was engaged to Lawrence. Further she thinks that Jack was going for one of the SNL wild & crazy guys. And then she adds how much she misses Vern. And, don't we all?!! For the DAYS virgins among us, Vern was the newspaper editor & also father to Brian & to Tanner, Vern Scofield.
    • It's Eurovision week!

    • And, Gio is Rocco's half-brother, siblings.
    • Yes, I would agree that she has some rights to tell Dante because it's their son's brother and it's very unfair Dante never knew.  The whole scenario is odd to me because I don't know why Dante or Olivia were kept in the dark in the first place.  I think Dante would have absolutely accepted Brook Lynn's choice.   I can see Olivia possibly having some issues with it, but she never got the option to react either.
    • Head trip for EON fans and thanks to @GymnastGuy who's been posting tons of Search episodes on YouTube.  SFT August 22 1985 episode Executive Producer: Erwin Nicholson who produced Edge for nearly two decades; this was his last job (9 months starting March 85 through Nov). • Ahh...so in that case it's more of a gray area. But I still think Lulu  has ground to tell Dante as she co-parents with him.
    • Well Disney owns the archive of all ABC soaps plus Santa Barbara. There are no known plans for Disney to do anything at all with the archive. Some of us are very excited because GH has done modern digitizing of original scenes of young Lucky & young Liz to use as flashbacks now & the past few months. Jerome Dobson last year teased that Santa Barbara might be streamed sometime. It had been tied up in some litigation & that is over now. The reason Disney owns it: it was owned by New World. FOX bought them. Disney bought all of FOX.
    • I casually watched it as a kid, but I finally started X-Men: The Animated Series season 1. It's going to be fun watching it from beginning to end.
    • Thank you very much for the information!!! All the episodes that person sells are the ones which appear or have appeared in youtube, and some have wrong dates.  Due to that, I guess some people, who have rare and inedite episodes, refuse to upload them in internet, because then, others make money. I hope ABC create a place in the net where we can see all the available episodes they must have, as Retro tv did with the Doctors!!!! Retro tv did an awesome job!!!! Have a look :
