February 2, 200916 yr Member I liked this epsiode too, no, it wasn't all out action, but I like slow episodes. I don't understand the need for every episode to be action packed, at least they appear to be BUILDING to something. And the build up, to me, is sometimes even better than the pay off. Well maybe not better, but just as good
February 2, 200916 yr Author Member As for Billy and Lily... I am holding my breath It's like a double-edged sword with that, huh? If she sticks with Billy after the baby reveal it will continue to be boring, and if she goes back to Cane it will be boring yet again. It never gets better. The writers need to find a middle ground with her.

February 2, 200916 yr Author Member Oh, let her go be with Cane.. I don't care... I'll FF their boring scenes.. I never FF Y&R, that's why I'm worried.

The writers need to find a middle ground with her. I'm trying to stay away from Lily posts. But the middle ground she needs to do something outside of Billy or bumping into Cane. Like working for Niel, being around friends, I'm sure their others things she could do. After everything is said & done she still don't have any goals in life but to be with whoever is left after the truth comes out about Chloe baby. Edited February 2, 200916 yr by MoTheGreat
February 2, 200916 yr Member Whatever guys. This crap was just plain boring and totally uninspired. I don't need nonstop action. But this is just underproduced blahness. And yes, classic Y&R was always days and days of waiting and buildup. Bill Bell was the master. It was awesome. And Y&R's stellar production values made up for it. (The waiting) The production is reminding me of Lynn Marie. It seems quite sparse and the show is way too quiet or something. Where the hell are my Katherine and Murphy? February 2, 200916 yr Member But this is just underproduced blahness. What was so underproduced about it? They were using sets, lighting, and music cues that they ALWAYS use.
February 2, 200916 yr Author Member Kay and Murphy might be amazing, but they can't actually have them on all the time, can they? I thought it was all as great as usual. Production is much MUCH better than Latham's or Griffith's.
February 2, 200916 yr Member I don't know guys, I am just not feeling Y&R this last 5-7 episodes. Tomorrows previews looked decent.

Cause I don't mind Lily on her on. I would love to see her hanging out with other people aside from being with her two lover boys.
February 2, 200916 yr Member For the last few episodes it's been night time and there's been a slow build up to the inclement weather that's now affecting GC and wherever the cabin is. So it's understandable that there wouldn't be many people out and that would account for the sparse feeling. It hasn't bothered me, actually it's made things seem a bit more realistic, I mean if there were a lot of people doing things in this type of weather we'd be complaining about how stupid the characters were being written. It seems like we're now looking in on different characters and getting to see what they are doing while Mother Nature is wreaking havoc outside. Edited February 2, 200916 yr by Rhiannon
February 3, 200916 yr Member Yet another annoyingly O-T-T performance from Peter Bergman on Monday.PB? Are you kidding? So I think I decided that TS was actually ok on Friday, but the slips in the accent were just wrong at times it was so obvious, but she seems to actually be able to act when she's not so focused on the accent. So if we're going to be stuck with her, I'd rather have her just give up on trying so hard at the american accent.I'm still not impressed and the accent was awful. If we are stuck with her then I will most definitely be FF through her scenes especially since Colleen is not an Australian. If they decide to pair her with boring Thad then I definitely won't be watching those scenes!! Why didn't TIIC just bring her on as another Australian since she has such a hard time focusing on her accent and acting at the same time? Nick is such a dumb ass although I love Phyllis teetering on the edge. Who wants to bet that Sharon gets pregnant after their romp? Edited February 3, 200916 yr by Heyou
February 3, 200916 yr Member Good lord has Sharon been in that cabin all year? Sure feels like it and now she's stuck even longer. Haha to Phyllis being shut down by the cops. If only she would die in this storm The last scene with Eden crying in Michael's arms was about the worst acting Ive seen on this show in a long time. Girl was absolutely dreadful. Edited February 3, 200916 yr by Cheap21
February 3, 200916 yr Member Eden is a mini Gloria. True, but Eden is a 15 yr old acting like a hard headed 15 yr while Gloria is a 60 yr old acting like a 15 yr old. Lauren and Michael are parenting Eden. They shouldn't have to parent Michael's mother.
February 3, 200916 yr Member PB? Are you kidding? I don't have to like PB, just as you don't have to like TS. I happen to think PB's performances are cheesy and melodramatic - especially in the last few years. (Not that I would ever want him to leave the show - he is part of the fabric of Y&R. He should just stick to business storylines.) Edited February 3, 200916 yr by y&r_fan
