Please make the singing stop...... e8143.gif

What a depressing song to sing at a wedding!

I liked the song. It sounded familiar, does anyone know if it one of Y&R's old songs?

I think that Ana sang NADIA'S THEME, which is Y&R's theme song.

Yes, the music was from Nadia's Theme, but the lyrics were new.

So, CBS a mistake and posted the 1/2/09 episode on their YouTube account. Watch it now, if you can, who knows if they'll realize they made an error in a few hours. They list it as the 1/2/08 episode, but they got the year wrong. LOL!

This episode ROCKS. It felt like a classic Y&R episode, it's a very ensemble episode, with some characters showing up later in the episode, the way it was done in the old days. Even the Winters were interesting in this episode. The ending WILL TOTALLY surprise you.

Also, Melissa Salmons, as I predicted, is a wonderful addition as a scriptwriter to this show. She had Michael mention Chantal, she definitely had to do her research to know who Chantal is.

Also, this is Mike Stitch's first episode as a director on Y&R that doesn't deal with location stuff.

This episode, of course, airs Friday in the US and the show will not be on Thursday, which is New Year's obviously.

I agree. Very good episode and I loved how many characters were involved. You can see how they are setting up so many long term stories in this one episode. On a personal note, Lauren looks great in red and I liked her being flirty with Michae. Nice suprise in the end and Maria Bell is putting all the people in their proper places. Good stuff.

As long as there is no confirmation of that, you can't keep repeating it.

And their relationship isn't exactly non-popular.

I agree with you 100%. Every episode she wrote was great.

I wish Chantal Abbey could make an appearance one of these days. Actually, any of those past sidekicks would be nice to see.

Michael would need his office back for that to happen. I don't understand why they don't bring his office back and then they could kill two birds with one stone since Paul and Michael can still be sharing office space. IF ADA Barbie can get a big office, super attorney Mikey should have one.

No one should be fired, how lucky that the US fans get to be ahead of the Canuck's.

I'll be damned! A late Christmas gift watching Friday's episode! i guess since the episode hasn't aired yet, I'll put this all in spoiler tags.

Tell me to shut up if i gush too much about them, but Murphy and Kay's relationship is the most endearing romance I've seen on a soap in a long, long time. The way he guides her and tries to keep her safe is so wonderful to watch. I liked that he warned Kay about Gloria too. It shows he's smart.

They're really setting up Ashley and Victor's s/l well too. Victor manipulating ashley to allowing Jack back at the reigns of Jabot only to set Jack up for a big fall is gonna be good. It's ironic that Jack torpedo'd his marriage to Sharon all in the name of bringing Victor down and now Victor is jeopardizing his relationship with Ashley to screw Jack. And bringing in the great pitbull Jill to be his ally just makes it all the more better.

I am really trying to get into the Winters drama but the obstacles they are creating don't seem plausible. Was there a problem casting Yolonda and they're just vamping till they find an actress or is it just contrived? I do not know much about the court system and foster care, but seeing as Yolonda filed a missing child report and now vanished and the child's only guardian, Tyra, a relative, can't take care of her with all the circumstances seems just stupid. What judge would take a healthy child away from her blood relatives just to put her into foster care? There's just no valid explanation. Add that to the fact that the conflict between Tyra and Karen is so tepid that I'm wondering what i am supposed to be rooting for. i'll say this though EM seems to be trying desperately to up her game and she did way better than the last big boo-hoo scene where she couldn't connect to the scene.

Was it wrong that I laughed and laughed and laughed when

Tyra "broke down" in the hallway? That was some BAD attempting at crying and that's not the first time Eva has done that. It's like she's trying too hard to make herself cry instead of trying to pull the tears and emotions from some place deep.
