In real life, her partner is Ben Collins who owns The Onion.

She is now running for Congress from Illinois' 9th Congressional District.

^ Disclaimer: I honestly don't know enough about Kat Abughazaleh to have an opinion as to whether I would support her or not. This is the first I've heard of her! I might like her, I might dislike her, I actually know nothing! (I had to look her up on wikipedia).
