I'll just be that person: New widow Erika Kirk gushing about Vance and how similar he is to her husband live on TV, amidst the already swirling rumors about the two, is at least some sick entertainment value we can get out of the daily horrors of this decade. If there's one thing Republicans love to do it's crash out publicly with sex scandals in the most damaging way possible.

20 bucks says that in about 6-12 months or so J.D. is going to dump his current wife and leave her for Erika so that he can increase his chances to be a potential viable candidate for president.

JD definitely needs a White wife for his presidential profile, but he's gotten started much sooner than he would have prefered. He's definitely slept with Erika Kirk because that hug and the breathless way she was speaking about him say that. That said, some of these marriages in politics are so arranged that Usha Vance may not even care.

MAGA women don’t stay single for long. I saw that during COVID with the Herman Cain Awards. COVID widows would post on Facebook how they lost the love of their life then a few months later they’re engaged to one of hubby’s friends.

While they are building ballrooms...

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/nov/02/trump-cost-ballroom-government-shutdown

The luxury gap: Trump builds his palace as Americans face going hungry

"Images of wealthy monarchs or autocrats revelling in excess even as the masses struggle for bread are more commonly associated with the likes of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette of France, who spent lavishly at the court of Versailles, or Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos of the Philippines, who siphoned off billions while citizens endured deepening poverty."

"But now America has a jarring split-screen of its own, between an oligarch president bringing a Midas touch to the White House and families going hungry, workers losing pay and government services on the brink of collapse."

"Trump has made a personal profit of more than $1.8bn over the past year, according to a new financial tracker run by the Center for American Progress thinktank, which says the lion’s share came from launching his own crypto ventures while aggressively deregulating the industry. Other sources of income include gifts, legal settlements and income from a $40m Amazon documentary about the first lady, Melania Trump."

He walked so Trump could run.

Republicans got more embarrassed tonight in elections that Nicole Dupree Richardson at her anniversary party. And the NYC results aren't even in.

Some stooge is on NBC now, bleating how Trump has lowered inflation, while trying to downplay the big blue wins tonight. :P

Whoops, not cable, it's NBC proper. Explains everything. Network that made Trump a reality star.

Some idiot on CNN was saying the same thing.

The same network that was ordered by their boss to stop talking about the East Wing because he was afraid it would hurt their chances for a merger.

I saw that Abby Phillips, who always has the truly loathsome Scott Jennings on her show, was talking about how Democrats lost last year due to not having politics. Never mind that when Democrats share their policies, they are picked to death.

Trump was right about one thing - the media system in this country should be broken and destroyed.

They even lost two public commissioner races in Georgia - the first losses for state (not federal) races since 2006.

All those "the public are sending a message" pundits will likely have little to say about these results in so many states, because you can't ever go against dear leader.
