This is SO tame compared to what Jimmy has said of Trump (and rightfully so) and others in the past. All the more proof they were looking for any excuse to pull him to do right by The Don. So glad it backfired on them.

Any time Americans start talking about "communism" pisses me off. Do you even *know* what communism is? There's a great documentary about "Kiruna Swedes" in... ehrm, Swedish, but either way these people ended with bullets in their brains, their children trying to get back to Sweden and communists denying it all happened.

 

This has nothing to do with Social Democracy - believing that society needs a wider social net, believing that we can still vote for our leaders, believing that our neighbour is not some awful human being less deserving than us... is not communism. 

Stop it the US. Seriously. 

I had a pretty major argument with my parents earlier today on my way to the eye doctor to get my new glasses readjusted. My daddy actually believes Trump's ridiculous claims that Tylenol and their so called link to autism and he also literally told me that the press is the enemy because they are all a bunch of commies. So I guess he's okay with this country becoming full on fascist just as long as it's the Republicans in power.

And when I told him how I was afraid that one day the government was going to come to our house and take me away to a wellness farm, he actually laughed at me and told me that I was being ridiculous and hysterical. It's just so frustrating. This is why I don't really care what happens to me anymore. Because I know how much this country despises disabled people and now with RFK Jr on the war path when it comes to autism, it's only a matter of time before the government decides that they have to get rid of every single autistic person in this country by any means necessary. And when that day comes, my days are pretty much numbered and there is nothing I can do at that point.

I live in Canada but was born in The United States, in Norwell,  Massachusetts. I have dual citizenship.

I agree with you and I see your vision among my American relatives in New England. I have other relatives in Pennsylvania who don't see it as clearly. Some of them object to the different skin-colors within the marriages of our family.  One or two have decided to sever ties due to marriages with "Jig$#@%s"
