Sorry if this was already posted. Jon Ralston, a big Nevada forecaster, has, after mentioning the strong Republican turnout for weeks, suggested that Harris will win the state - narrowly. Very narrowly. He was a few points off in other elections so the same may be true here, but we'll hope for the best.

Joe Rogan endorsed Trump. Probably something that would have had much more of an effect weeks ago and seems to have been heavily manipulated by Elon. Still, in such a tight race anything can make a difference.

^^

I would guess that Joe Rogan appeals to those already in Trump's corner, so I don't think his endorsement will matter much one way or the other.

It was posted, yes. Ralston almost never misses. And he is also a notorious stunt queen/engagement farmer, who had his new red followers bamboozled with lots of his usual dramatic antics for weeks.

I called this a while ago. IF we win, you'll hear this kind of rationalization from a lot of people - oh, it was MSG/Puerto Rico, it was Vance, it was just Trump being Trump. And you won't just hear it from the right but also from mainstream media dudes and from coping far leftists and bad faith merchants of all kinds. Much like with Obama (until it became undeniable) they won't want to give an inch of credit to Kamala. We will have to force them.

I'm surprised (but delighted) to see Dick Van Dyke endorse Kamala Harris for some reason.

I stay on TwiX, because there are some folks on there (mostly TV writers) whom I follow and who, in some cases, follow me as well.  Just as I remain on FB because that's the only way I keep in touch with the few, former classmates I can tolerate, lol.  But, yeah, TwiX largely has become a wasteland and set social media back about 20 years, too.

As I said last week:

I started following twitter during the Arab Spring when young people were discussing  overthrowing repressive regimes.   It was a way to communicate anonymously and bring about positive change.

Now twitter is owned by someone who is endorsing the return of a repressive regime.

Meanwhile: Charlie Kirk and other right wing chuds are notably concerned about turnout, vote cannibalization in NV, AZ, etc.

Hoping Women, African Americans, Latinx, and other historically disenfranchised communities vote in droves today. They’re the only hope to keep democracy alive, even if said democracy has never truly empowered them to give a damn.
