I wish people would finally abandon Twitter, it’s getting ridiculous. Either Musk is deliberately junking this social media platform or is allowing the wheels to fall off, one by one. There was an article stating that he is centering his account and what benefits his interests, while stifling opposing voices. That tweet that was posted upthread from someone claiming to have been trying to post it all day, does anyone actually believe that this is by accident, or that it’s some kind of glitch? It’s a feature not a bug.

Deflecting, burying the lead and missing the mark with me as usual.

More random stuff.

The article also stated that Musk is boosting pro GOP/right-wing tweets, so those of who often turn to Twitter and find yourself with more than a healthy dose of nerves or depressed more than usual, that is also by design.

Get off Twitter guys, it’s a wasteland by design.

My post got broken up, unfortunately, that is why it is in two separate posts, which was not my intention.

I think people will start to abandon Twitter after the election. I also think Musk will sell but he'll probably sell to someone equally as psychotic.

I really feel like there's a whole lot of triggers that will get pulled when Trump loses. DOJ, state courts, divorce court, probate courts, etc...books full of [!@#$%^&*] we should've learned about in real time, what deals people made to sell him out, etc....

It's going to be ugly but not as bad as I think some folks are predicting.

Maybe naive of me re: tomorrow, but I am considerably more concerned about the violence after the election than the result. I also wouldn't be shocked if Musk does what some suspect: Black out Twitter if the numbers stop going Trump's way.

Oh, do I ever hope so! I could not abide by likes of Musk possibly benefiting from my data and creative output. Even while he shows utter contempt for many of the people who use Twitter, he benefits from their tweets and data.

My god, this is frightening. It's pure nazi rhetoric he's spouting. And the fact that people are laughing and applauding is even more frightening. Hillary was too kind when she called these people deplorable.

They are disgusting people for sure. I wonder how many people really have the stomach to see Trump's policies through? Really, you are going to watch millions of your neighbors being rounded up and deported and be just fine with that? I really want to believe that most people are better than that.

Yes, I half think Musk is doing all of this because he wants to go to [!@#$%^&*] Mars. In any case, it's all about money for him.

^ As far as the Russian government paying influencers, I have no doubt. Trump has said he will abandon Ukraine. I'm sure Iran, Russian and China are all trying to destabilize our nation by all available means. They're doing a good job of it as far as I can see.

It's November 5th.  Please, America, don't let American democracy die today.  Make history by electing the first woman President and end this Trump nightmare of the last 8 years once and for all.  To every American on this board, I'm rooting for you guys.  Good luck!
