It's some of the early voting numbers that are concerning me (Virginia, NC, among others). Hopefully it's just going back to normal when so many Republicans didn't vote early in 2020, rather than a real sign of a shift to Trump that various polls have indicated.

An NYT article on the Arab-Americans who are pushing for Trump. One person in this who was co-head of the "Abandon Biden" group (later Harris) even has a selfie on her Twitter smiling with Trump. Just absolute scum.

Some reports that the door-knocking group funded by Elon is partly fradulent.

I have to believe this is just a subset of people who want to burn everything down. Trump seems to really hate Arabs, even more than he hates everyone else. Muslims are the only ones he actually banned. I won't be surprised if he tried to do it again. He maybe losing his mind, but he's holding pretty tight to all the hate.

I do feel hopeful about Kamala's chances, but I am astounded by how many people are sticking with Trump. This should not be a close race. I just cannot wait until we can all put that man in our rear view mirror once and for all.

Please remember that not every Arab is Muslim and vice versa. That fact aside, claiming to vote for someone so odious and racist is the definition of cutting off one’s nose to spite one’s face. Better they just stay home, which, who can say for sure if they make the trek to the ballot box?

one canadian’s thoughts on trump’s scandals. can’t tell if he’s trying to be ironic or sarcastic — or, maybe he’s serious. either way, grateful he won’t be voting.

As a Canadian who has lived in the US, and who follows US politics very closely, I am fascinated by the fact that tens of millions of Americans hate Trump and about the same number of people love Trump. I personally think that Trump is the most honest, most qualified, smartest and certainly most entertaining president in generations. He loves America more than anything. He works harder than any of his competitors. His policies are grounded in common sense and are designed to better the life of all Americans. One of Trump's most important agenda items is to depoliticize government agencies, starting with the FBI, the intelligence community and the IRS. These great institutions need to go back to being being independent agencies without a political agenda. Also, four more years of a Trump administration would help put an end to the Ukrainian/Russian conflict and bring peace to the Middle East by advancing the Abraham accords with many more Arab nations.

I don't care for all the chummy, elitist tones from Cook/Amy Walter, but this tweet does match up to how much these last months have reminded me of 2016. That year enough white women moved to Trump due to dislike of Hillary or going along with the lie that Trump wouldn't really go against them. Even now, after the fall of Roe, I am not sure if he has muddied the waters enough (with a lot of help from the media) to bring them back again.

(for some reason I can't embed Amy Walter's tweets here)

Walter has always looked for a reason to believe Trump can win 'on policy'. In any event, I don't buy it.

As predicted, no matter how much men tell us this just isn't a top issue.

Abortion Overtakes Immigration in Voters' Minds - Newsweek

Polling rigging again with the medias help who are doing what they did in 2022.  Red Waving polls.

And here is Adam Carlson confirming the steady polling yet again.

Just note, I have zero faith in the polls just as I could care less about what right wing social media(which is most of social media now) broadcasts versus what matches the reality of our country. Noisy, dangerous nepo apartheid babies like Musk or David Sacks don't represent Americans, especially women.

So here we go again, suddenly Trump is getting less white working class voters in 2024 than he did in 2016 and 2020(if you believe the polls). Let me guess he's going to make up that difference with black voters.  Don't make me laugh.

Here's a clip of Mark Kelly having a conversation with a vet who supported Trump, and Kelly explaining the actual facts -- I think Kelly may have convinced him.

I will try to embed the tiktok.  Then I'll post a twitter copy of the same tiktok.
Hopefully you can see one of them and be able to share it with anyone who may need to see it:

This is an ad. A very effective one.  And it doesn't change a thing Mark Kelly said. I have an account on Tik Toc and have seen him in other videos.

Thanks.  I tried to find the original but that was all I could find.  And yes it's very effective, and helpful.

A very good interview (part of anyway) with Kamala Harris and Liz Cheney. Two articulate, intelligent women. One can only imagine the kind of answers Donald Trump would have given...

Of course, but as far as I can tell he hates both. What I was really trying to get at is I think this is just part of the far left that is always threatening to make things worse to make them better, Susan Sarandon style. I've seen polls showing that Jill Stein is doing well among these types. Hopefully, it won't be enough to make a difference.

It makes me equally sad to watch poor and middle class white people vote for Trump due to hate. Hate seems like a stronger motivation than self preservation for far too many people. Some of them are so gleeful about it. I'm just hoping reason will prevail this time.
