It what seems to be a odd move, but hey its ATWT here, the show has recast the role of Jade Taylor.

Davida Williams will be playing the role of Jade, the daughter of Lily's late twin Rose, last seen in July of 07. Davida's first episode is set for December 12th. The role was last played by Elena Goode.

This is all according to Soaps.com/daytimeconfidential/we love soaps.

I liked Elena Goode, but I don't see why Jade is needed, especially with a recast.

I really hate to hear this! I just never saw the need for 'Jade' to start with and was thrilled when she left.

There isnt really a need for this, but kudos to them for bringing some diversity back to the canvas. Still, I dont see why they couldn't have gone with Elena Goode.

ATWT keeps adding character without really doing much with them. What happened to Dani Andropolous? Aaron is barely on. Bonnie McKenchie?

Who cares? What a stupid move! Yet, another one by Goutman and Co. The Jade character was just blah. I only liked her at the end. I dont want to see this character back again. I have a feeling it's for a triangle between Derek, Bonnie and Jade.

I really don't see why they didn't bring Elena Goode back. The only thing I've seen her in since ATWT is a Pizza Hut commerical.

I loved Jade but only because it was Elena Goode...I just don't like the idea of a recast.

But w/e I guess it's to have Jade cause more trouble or w/e. Maybe her and Casey. I dunno. I just don't see what's the point of bringing her back. I mean technically all she ever did was act an obstacle/trial for Will and Gwen.
