November 6, 200817 yr Member I am so touched by the stories of these vets living with disabilities. I am equally touched by this glimpse of Agnes Nixon's All My Children. Never a PSA, always a relatable slice of life. A kid I went to college with appeared on the ep where Zarf/Zoe attended a support group for transgendered people. I think that was the last time we saw something quite like this.
November 6, 200817 yr Member So moving, just awesome stuff today. Such honor for their country and yet such a high price. *tears*
November 6, 200817 yr Member I thought that today's show was pretty good. I though that the scenes with the real life Iraq war veterans were very touching. Jake and Taylor watching the telenovela: I thought that Jake's comments about the soap were funny. IMO, he was entertaining in those scenes. I also liked the scenes with David and JR and JR and Krystal. Edited November 6, 200817 yr by xtr
November 6, 200817 yr Member The support group was fantastic!!! Bravo!!!!! David and Amanda kissing. HOTT!!! I am going to pretend that David is kissing me. Mmmmmmmm..
November 6, 200817 yr Member LOVED Reese in Architec mode today. Her small scene with Adam was awesome. Erica is out to steal Fusion and Reese is totally going to help her. I guess Erica is going to have her own office , it also seems like Erica plans on replacing Amanda with Randi. Erica/Bianca/Kendall was also great.
November 7, 200817 yr Member Erica: Reese is actually Bianca's fiance. Adam (with frozen smile): Fascinating! LMFAO! Looks like somebody is a Star Trek fan. "Fascinating" was Spock's response to anything he found unusual. And, trust me it works in real life social situations too. I can't tell you how many times I've used it. It's completely noncommittal and the listener interprets it anyway they want. Judging from the way Erica treated Randi, Pratt has decided to turn Fusion into "Mode" and Erica into Wilhemina Slater. I guess this makes Amanda "Betty" and Randi "Marc." I still love Bianca and Reese. It was great to see Reese acting like a professional. The scene at the VA hospital was so real and so moving. I'm torn between being grateful that a soap could still do this and wondering if such...depth is wasted on the genre. I really, truly hope that everyone involved writes a story worthy of the incredible REAL people we saw today. Pardon my French but don't [!@#$%^&*] this up Frons. And to the vets on and off this show...THANK YOU. Edited November 7, 200817 yr by marceline
November 7, 200817 yr Member Don't know if it's true, but I read the support group scenes were unscripted. Adam & Erica David & Amanda
November 7, 200817 yr Member Don't know if it's true, but I read the support group scenes were unscripted. I believe it. They were too raw.
November 7, 200817 yr Member I believe it. They were too raw. I agree, plus Pratt isn't capable of writing anything that was as good as those scenes were
November 7, 200817 yr Member The unscripted Iraq war veterans scene was magnificent, it was a really good moment for AMC. Too bad the scripted stuff way too often doesn't hold a candle in comparison.
November 7, 200817 yr Member I found the war stuff to be boring actually. Had to FF Loving Amanda and David. Ive wanted this for years
November 7, 200817 yr Member Adam tried to be nice to Binks and she wasn't having it , the samwthing happened during Erica&Binks first scene a few ago. What's the deal between them?
November 7, 200817 yr Member Adam tried to be nice to Binks and she wasn't having it , the samwthing happened during Erica&Binks first scene a few ago. What's the deal between them? could be bc Adam sued her sister's company.
November 7, 200817 yr Member could be bc Adam sued her sister's company. It doesn't sem to bother Erica , other than making her hot and bothered i mean. lol Is there anything that can really done to bring someone out of a Coma?
