I disagree there. Not only because I find Lauren irritating and blame her for the destruction of Michael Baldwin, but also because Tracey has shown a tremendous lack of commitment to the show by refusing to even sign a contract. Frankly, she's lucky she gets the amount of screen time she does. (No offense to her or her fans.)

I do take offense as her fan because you don't know what you are talking about it and frankly a loyal veteran like Tracey doesn't deserve it. It is insulting that Tracey is labelled as unloyal. This woman has been with the Y & R or B & B since she was 19 yrs old. She was asked to go over to B & B with the Sheila character to give that show a jump start early in the 90's and she did so willingly and gave her all. She was demoted to recurring and eventual let go by B & B in 1998. No once did she say a negative thing about the Bells or B & B. She was always very respectful and professional although she admitted it was tough being let go after so many years.

Then Y & R asked her back in 2001 as a recurring character. Not as a contract player. She again agreed on their terms. The only time we heard talk of her being asked to go on contract was under Jack Smith and at that time she decided not to but was more than willing to work heavy story. Who knows if the show would even offer her a contract now. Twice the Bell shows have asked her to be recurring before so why commit to a contract when these current writers have shown no inclination to write Lauren a story. I saw Tracey in August and talked to her about her reduced air time and she said she really wished the writers would use her character more and write for her more but that is their choice. Before slamming a very loyal actress to the show, one should know what they are talking about.

If anything...not being on contract and STILL being at Y&R, even through LML. Tracey seems pretty damn loyal to me.

Please don't talk to me as if I'm an idiot. If I got the facts wrong, I apologize.

And FWIW, people have said much, much, MUCH worse things about actresses I like.

You're right, and I apologize for my tone in my post.
