Im so not used to seeing Taylor be so aggresive. She's coming across how Brooke used to be. With that said, Im glad she ended her engagement with Rick and Im so hoping she reunites with Ridge. Those two have so much chemistry and are better suited for each other. This really has renewed my interest in the show after contemplating dropping it with all the other crap that has gone down

I'd forgotten how much I like Taylor and Ridge together. I really hadn't thought about them reuniting, because for the past few years, the Ridge and Brooke relationship has mainly hinged on Nick, not another woman for Ridge.

I really like Heather Tom but I'm glad to get days with Katie.

B&B has me mystified right now. I should hate it with every fiber of my being yet I watch it...and enjoy it. Donna's decision to play Pam's game and then Stehpanie being the one to clue Eric in about Pam's blackmail is classic B&B. The decision to babckburner Nick and Katie and up Brooke, Ridge and Taylor is as smart as B&B can get. We've all seen the Taylor/Ridge/Brooke triangle a million times, but it seems like a fresh well for B&B to tap. And the reason why it seems fresh is that this triangle HAS WORKED so many times before. Factor in Rick - who may become alive for the first time since the character was with Amber eons ago - and Bridget who will certainly have something to say about this, and you've got a compelling story.

Just when you think B&B is dead...go figure.

That's the thing about B&B...it can go up and down VERY quickly.

IA that the T/R/B triangle just seems to work a whole lot better than the others they try. Lol I still like it when Ridge calls Taylor "doc." It's so cheesey, but I like the throwback to their history.

I do think Owen has continued to be useless and has even grown more so.

They need to drop Katie and Rick from the Taylor/Ridge/Nick/Brooke story. The reason why that quad works is bc of the history between the 4 characters. Rick truly is the odd man out and Katie, well she has no business here as we never saw this great love affair with Nick play out. IMO they are dead weight and the show should just focus on the 4. Ive always felt that Ridge/Taylor and Brooke/Nick were best suited for each other. I can only hope that the show will fix things and pair up the right set of characters together

I half agree. I don't think any more characters should be thrown into the Brooke/Ridge/Taylor/Nick triangle, but I certainly don't want the show to focus solely on 4 characters! That's what they did from 2005-2007 and that was the worst period in the show's history. The whole cast should be featured, IMO. Thorne needs a storyline, as does Jackie. Katie needs to go back with Thorne (their break-up was pathetic) and Rick needs a more age appropriate love interest.

I also think Nick has been done to death and should be killed off. Bring on Zach Hamilton (Taylor's brother) to fill the role of Brooke's love interest.

    • Has anyone ever totted up how many women on GL slept with both father and son(s)? Reva gets a lot of crap for it but she's far from the only one: Claire Beth Blake Olivia Dina Did I miss anyone?
    • I think Long was probably planning to have Claire suffer from Post Partum, but she left the writing staff shortly after Claire had Michelle so that element didn't get explored. And I always assumed that when Claire returned in the late 90s/early 00s.. that she was realizing that she messed up by not staying a part of Michelle's life and became resentful/bitter over her previous choices.  That was my theory.
    • Jenn was a huge part of the success of Days back in the day, and that contribution shouldn't be dismissed.  With that said, I do think her and Jack's time on the show should remain as occasional visits/drop ins. When Missy returns to play Jenn, Jenn is back to being Jenn.   Jenn in her glory days was head strong, fiesty, and was a live wire.... and her scenes with Jack on Friday was classic Jenn with Jack being the voice of reason.   It was the foundation of their relationship back in the day.
    • Claire was always tightly wound, I think what Long was going to do is to throw the three into this impossible situation with no bad guys, Mo, knowing how to take care of kids from growing up but unable to conceive and Claire, who didnt know how to take care of kids and was totally focused on her career, gets knocked up.  Ryder took Claire off the deep end as a convenient way to make story for characters he wasnt interested in (though Pratt blames McTavish) with little effort. It was later explained to be a brain tumor (though why was she a bitch again when she returned?) \ Claire did sleep with Rick, she was his first!
    • I'm sorry, truly I am, but this literally made me LOL. Tempting fate, much?

    • Oh, I have very little doubt that Missy feels some way personally and privately.  Donna was just saying she actively spoke out against Days in public in reference to the gay storylines, which she did not. I don't have super strong feeling about Jen one way or another.  She was always a side character to me.  I still think Missy is Jen regardless of her stupid beliefs.
    • I hated the swap-over; Clayton Norcross, to me, was far superior in the role of Thorne than Jeff Trachta ever was. And the recast left me disliking Thorne when he was the superior son to me. As for Teri Ann Linn, I feel like she got the raw deal. Kristen was very clear as a forefronting character, especially in her rivalry with Stephanie, and it feels like she was dropped off for Felicia, and they never returned it. Not to mention the subpar recast with Tracy Melchior in 2001. Someone like Brenda Epperson (ex-Ashley, Y&R) would've been more suited for that role.
    • I just remember when Leo was marrying Craig (?), Greg Rikaart stated a line and made direct eye-contact with Melissa Reeves, and when the camera cut to her, she looked away.

Rikaart had a mission that day, and he succeeded.
    • I need to go and find less.
