If Evangeline and that snarly looking overrated woman who plays her return to this show... I will cry. That said I have little to no desire to see her return to the show. That window has closed LONG ago. I don't think anybody - except apparently Vee - is remotely concerned about Evangeline anymore. There are a lot of actors that I remain fans of outside of their involvement in soaps. (Nathan Fillion, Josh Duhamel, Eden Riegel, Ellen Bethea, Dan Gauthier, Kerry Butler, Josh Casaubon, Kathy Brier, Forbes March, Nathaniel Marston, Victoria Rowell, Tim Stickney, Kim Delaney, Darnell Williams and Debbie Morgan and that's just off the top of my head.) I love who I love and I don't apologize for that. But, I don't expect a show, especially one under Frons' control to employ the actors I admire.) And don't worry, I'm willing to bet ME/John McBain will leave in a year or so. Why not get another year's worth of paychecks while he does what he really loves? In fact I love all of your actors named- especially Nathan, Dan, Ellen Bethea, Tim, and Kim Delaney. I found that period on the show the WORST in OLTL's history- The McBains, Evangeline... all of it... Malone created Evangeline I believe? I did not like the actress or the character the minute she came onscreen and I never warmed up to her. I have never "gotten" Michael Easton. His salary, I hear, is ENORMOUS, and the character and the McBain family did nothing for OLTL.. the whole thing reeked of Frons and made me sick. I love learning why people like things that I don't actually... And that is why I loved your theory on Carlivati... and I think it is dead on. I WAS one of those people for awhile until I realized that as much as I LOVED all the respect for the show's history- hell I even love that Janet Zarish is Lee Halpern!!! (She was actually a pretty popular character and people were very disappointed she was killed off during the writers strike) And the fact that Andrea would never have been back if it wasn't for Carlivati. I would watch Andrea Evans read the telephone book. She is just FUN. Not Meryl Streep. Just so much fun to watch. Alright enough gushing and back to what I was saying- As much as I loved all these great comebacks and nods to the past- THE PRESENT stories are NOT VERY GOOD. The very stories that these characters are being brought back in- ARE NOT VERY GOOD. Mendorra? The annoying and one note Natalie locked in the basement? Andrea being a supporting player to Bree Williamson? Ron needs to strengthen the stories- period. The only story I like, due to the chemistry between the fine actors and the fact that it took balls to tell it- is Marty and Todd--- and with Tea coming back soon.... Soaps.Com report that per Evans' agent it was all rumors and nothing more. Thank God! Hmmm, I wonder who'll be cast as the nu Sarah? I hope a soap vet. The site is a mess. and her agent said: ANDREA HAS NOT DECIDED TO LEAVE OLTL... Well what was reported was that Frons basically fired her due to the cost of flying her in from the west coast... No one ever said it was Andrea's decision.... So I will not be surprised if this news is wrong and Andrea is gone by November... I wish she would announce something one way or another.
